I got this for my 7 year old son and he went crazy about it. He loves science and he learned a lot about different science subjects. Good quality, has held up well.

Great books for young people
I purchased 5 of these, each different. It started with one as a Christmas present for oldest great grandson. On New Years Eve (4 of them got to spend a couple days with me) they began giving me lessons on what they had learned. They are 5,6,7,&8. The oldest read to the younger two. They liked them so much I bought four more for their birthdays. They now have a nice collection for science, bugs, ocean, basic science and engineering. I would highly recommend these books

Good science book.
This is an interesting science book. It's got fun facts and it's easy to read. My only issue is that the facts aren't organized ( eg a biology section, space section) but other than that it's good.

Science is FUN!
As a former educator (now retired) I have noticed while girls generally like books with a plot, boys overwhelmingly like factual/science and trivia-based books. My 11 yr old grandson is not a big reader but he loved this book! I was thrilled!

Great book for a curious 8yo. My son loves this book. The pictures are great and the facts are interesting. Some fact books have no pictures at all. This one is great for an 8yo

Excellent book
Great book for a granddaughter who is science mad. Lots of facts and info easy for a 9 year old to be entertained .would highly recommend for someone interested in science.
