DURATECH 3-Piece Adjustable Construction Spud Wrench Set, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, Black Oxide Finish, CR-V Steel, SAE and Metric Scale Marked, Alignment Holes and Tail Crowbar Features

Spud wrenches are not common and thus usually not cheap. I wasn't expecting much at this price but what I received seems on par with most decent adjustable wrenches. For reference I have a Snap-On adjustable wrench and it's nice but not much better than a Crescent or Craftsman. This one is fine as a wrench. The spud part is fine as well. For those that don't know, the tapered handle is used to align bolt holes and create a lever for doing so. It's great for bolting together unmanageable things like heavy truss sections. The 10" size is quite usable. 8" would be easier to carry but would create less lever and might not have as much capacity in the wrench section. Any smaller would probably fail to be useful for most spud wrench tasks. A 12" or larger is a very good tool but not something you would carry unless you know you are going to need it. I was on the fence between 8" and 10" but I knew that a 12" would be more than I want to carry. I think I made the perfect choice at 10" for my use doing Stagehand work where I want light weight but useful tools that I can carry all day.

Good quality for price. (Adjustment screw is slightly loose, BUT it's not a problem... I don't need this spud to be a precision tool.) Good weight, not too light, not too heavy. Size is as expected. (8") Good tool for a good price. :)

heavy duty. jaw gears worked smoothly. one spud tip was a little bent but still 5 stars for quality and price.

OH yeah. This was my 2nd having bought the 10-inch first. The 8-inch is just so handy for just about anything around the house. Great how you can line things up with the tapered handle. Hey, for the price thrown one in your toolbox and another in your everything drawer.

3 different sizes for a great price. So far they held up so quality is good. Just needs a place to tether it, but you can always weld something on it

Very well made spud wrenches. I was concerned the alignment end might break easy but the wrench is very strong. I use it to align gaskets and then tighten down flanges for piping, amungst other uses. The wrenches are machined very accurately and hold position well.

I buy a lot of tools and this one’s a keeper great value and I use it all the time. It is too heavy to carry around with me in my tool bag that I always keep it in my truck.

The product is not good quality ways. I use them fir 2 weeks and they broke. I give 1 star as i can't go lower
