Great filter and love the nut for easy removal! It’s about a 23mm bolt in case

Quality appears better than Purflux OEM.
I've become increasing fed up with premium filter manufacturers switching production to China and knocking out identical looking filters but when examined in detail are clearly rebadged poor quality tat. This includes those OEM brands once made in France and Italy. K&N in the past I found in the case of 2CV fitment were just Thailand HIFLO filters in a new frock however this filter being a TOYOTA fitment is made in Mexico. The Toyota fitment is key to fitting Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107 / 108 cars fitted with the one litre Toyota engine. Soon as I took it out of the box it felt quality, the weight, the finish and looking into the internals everything spelt quality. The inner tube has smaller perforations than the cheap ones which may restrict flow? I don't know but it would capture larger fragments should they puncture the elements, not that I ever hope my lube job regime would cause such incidents, but the bypass then should kick in if there is hoohaaa. Price, about the same as Purflux. Oh, and BTW there is a socket nut on the end bottom of the canister to aid removal. My Citroën will hopefully work just fine with it.

The nut on top makes all the difference
These are excellent filters but what makes all the difference is the 1 inch nut on the top. This makes it much more easier for removal. I have a 2002 Ford F-150 and the oil filter is difficult to get to, making regular oil filter wrenches useless. The nut is a lifesaver.
