APC Genuine UPS Replacement Battery APCRBC163 for Sine Wave UPS BR1500MS2

Excellent replacement battery! It revived my nearly dead UPS, in terms of standby power, and it's great to have full capacity again with this replacement. It fit perfectly in place of the old one, without much hassle in the replacement process. Definitely worth the price to replace the battery vs. recycle the whole unit and spend another $200+ for another UPS unit. There is also the ability to use the box it comes in to return the used battery for recycling, which make it easier than trying to figure out what to do with it otherwise.

Had to replace my old battery. This one works perfectly, and even provides more time during a power outage then my old one originally did.

Nothing beats the original OEM brand on batteries for UPS. They really do keep running the computer longer. Ease of replacement is silly easy, just push your thumb and slide off the UPS plate and the battery slides in/out to an internal connector, so no wired plug to worry about. Quality is obvious due to the exacting size and heavier weight which means more actual battery material to keep running longer. IMHO the longer runtime and longer life than copycat cheap batteries is the better value for the money, from spending more on the original manufacturer in the long-term.

I have bought this in the past and had no issues. However, this time when I went to lift the battery out of the box both straps pulled off. They didn't break, just unattached themselves. Admittedly, the handles are more of a bonus for me, but they do make installation a bit easier. Other than that, the battery works as intended.
