Six years of chicken dinners and sourdough loaves — still going strong
Six years of regular use and this dutch oven is still a staple in our kitchen. That alone says more than anything else I could write about it.We use it for everything. I've made some of my best chicken dishes in this pot — the lid seals in moisture exceptionally well and the results are consistently tender in a way that's hard to replicate with other cookware. My wife uses it regularly for baking sourdough and it delivers every time. The even heat retention that makes cast iron so good for braising works just as well for getting that perfect crust on a loaf of bread.After six years there is some discoloration on the enamel from regular use and a few small chips along the rim where the lid contacts the pot. Honestly neither of these concerns me — it's cast iron cookware that gets used hard and that's the kind of wear you expect over time. It hasn't affected performance in the slightest.Who this is for: Anyone who wants the performance of a premium cast iron dutch oven without the premium price tag. We looked at Le Creuset and similar big name brands before buying this and the price difference is significant. Six years in I can confidently say this holds its own against anything in that category for everyday home cooking.Bottom line: Affordable, versatile, and built to last. If you're on the fence about spending more on a designer brand dutch oven, save your money and get this one. Highly recommended.

Be careful to dry completely after washing.?I put in the dish drainer and it has rusty spots that run down the sides. It’s a beautiful color

Big and heavy
Perfect condition. No defects, no cracks, no peels, no scratches, easy to remove burnt food at bottom too. Just leave it with water in the sink and wipes easily. I've used it to bake, grill, cook etc and its all good. Food cooks much faster too. I love it. Only that it's heavy :)
