Does the cutter come in another color, pink is just not doable for me!

I'm not a fan of the pink either, so I did a little digging and found that Blick Art Supply sells their own version of this in what looks like a teal color. (Search for the "Blick Lino Cutter Set" on their website.) They also sell Speedball handles in 5 other colors: Blue, Burgundy, Green, Red, and Yellow. (Search for "Speedball Linoleum Cutter Handle." And just an FYI, these handles don't come with blades, so take that into consideration.) Happy crafting!

I have trouble fitting the blades into the top. I returned the item and received another one and still have the prob. Does anyone else have this prob?

I had the smae problem. Took it apart and found that when they put it together in the factory, they put in the part that goes in around the ball backwards. I reversed it and then it fit properly and worked perfectly. When you look at the end of the tool if the 2 pieces going around the ball do not look like the one in the picture, that they dont hug the center bullet , then you need to unscrew the end all the way, Take out the piece that is smaller, turn it around and you will now see that it hugs the bullet just like in the picture. Now the blade will slip in between that part and the bullet perfectly. Someone in the factory put them together wrong.

Can the blades be sharpened with a whetstone ?

These blades are quite small, and uniquely shaped. However, if you have the expertise, these blades can be sharpened with a whetstone. Good luck!

How long is the handle?

Wonderful! Box was a bit smooshed

The box looked beat up but everything inside is fantastic. I used smoother cutting tools in the past, but this is second best. Nice!

These blades are sharp and easy to change. It’s a great kit for a beginner or a simple set of tools for someone more advanced. I used them on rubber blocks and they worked perfectly. I love that everything stores in the handle, making it very compact. I have small hands and it was still easy and comfortable to use. It’s a great item!
