Does this make a ticking noise?

NO ticking. Mine has absolutely no ticking noise whatsoever. The only noise it makes is the alarm beep when the time has wound down to Zero.

Possible to lower volume of timer?

No, not on the Time Timer MOD. If you need to control the volume, please look at the Time Timer PLUS. The PLUS family of products all have a volume-control dial which will allow you to set it loud down to silent. Any further questions, please let us know: AMZsupport@timetimer.com

do you turn it in front or in the back to set the time?

The front has a little knob to turn it on. The back/top has a button for loud or louder for sound.

Does this timer have an audible alarm?

Yes, it has the option of having an audible alarm (or not). There's a switch on the back to enable or disable the alarm.

Super produit, certes un peu cher mais on a rien sans rien parait-il. Délai de livraison super long par contre. Pas de tic-tac, et possibilité de couper la sonnerie quand le temps est écoulé (parfait pour l'école donc) Le time timer permet à ma fille de se rassembler et de ce concentrer plus facilement sur la tâche
