Love it, I use it for kayaking and holding extra clothes and gear. It’s definitely water proof as I’ve gone in and it kept everything in it dry. Obviously I wouldn’t suggest submerging as it’s not air right and will allow liquid inside the bag. Worth more than what your paying, the bag is huge and durable and will be excellent for any outdoor adventures. Perfect for hiking as it has a chest strap and waist strap for comfort and control.

We purchased this to use on an ATV trip where it never fails we'll run in to rain, drive thru streams and rivers or anything else that can get us wet. We wanted something to keep our jackets and sweatshirts dry when those times arise. This worked perfect! Plenty of room, kept everything dry, including items in the zipper pocket. My son also used it to take hiking in the mountains and said it was very comfortable to carry and held everything they needed to keep dry in case it would rain. Highly, highly recommend!

It’s not like there’s limited choice when it comes to dry bags. I picked this one because it wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive, it was well reviewed, looked decent in the photos and was the right size. The bag is fantastic. It’s bigger and roomier than it looks but depending on how far you roll down the top you can make it smaller. I like the neutral grey and black. The straps are super comfortable and the whole thing appears very well made. I’ll have to see how it holds up over the next few months. In the meantime, it’s my new favourite outdoor adventure bag for hikes, the beach etc
