Works just like described replaced the big mainstream one with one of these Magnavore and it plows thru what the other couldn't. My only concern was hen using for the second time the felt pad on the outside half came off during use and rolled up. I don't know if this is a one time thing or if because they are replaceable the adhesive they use is weak intentionally but i think my be it should be stronger... not sure will update in a few months... other then that its exactly what all the hype says it is!!!
