This is a cool little product. I really like it for my 12-string acoustic guitar. The good: easy to use. So many alternate tunings. Can be used with any stringed instrument. It is accurate. I don't know if it is perfect, but I compared it to my headstock tuner, and 3 of the strings are dead on, and 3 are just a little bit off. I don't know which tuner is wrong, and which is right, but they are incredibly close, and my ear can't tell the difference. Having a metronome included is cool. The Bad: It is a little awkward to use on the G,B, and E strings on guitars with headstocks with 3 pegs on either side of the headstock. G is the hardest to do, but you get used to it. I doubt there is any way they can improve that, so it isn't really a big negative for me. I haven't used the feature yet, but I think where this thing really pays for itself is alternate tuning. It doesn't require a lot of thought to quickly get to an alternate tuning. It does require some initial programming, but the menu is pretty intuitive, so not an issue. I haven't used the winding feature yet either, but I am sure that will be my favorite feature. The metronome is cool. I have only used it once, but I sat it on the stand next to me, and the vibration feature made it spin in a circle. I was afraid it was going to fall off the stand, but it just sat there and spun around. all in all, excellent product.

This things is super cool in you figure out the tunings. Since I tune to B I have to set the wonder to specific tunings. Awesome.

I am one of those "basics only" kind of people who think doing things the hardest way possible is the truist form of expression, and have not bought one of these for the price. But I have over 14 stringed instruments (guitars, bass, ukulele, and others), that I like to play, and stopping to tune is a bother. Not sure of how this would work in a loud setting (which isn't my house), but at least here at home, tuning took no more than a couple of seconds and was easy to work with. The App didn't add value except to update the firmware, but I don't do alternate tunings and forgot to sync anyhow, so the current ukulele setup is just "Aa". If you buy one, you'll understand if you're in a hurry. Otherwise I thinks it's a good buy.

I like this compact gadget, I only used the tuner and winder so far. Both tuning and winding worked very well. Although, I took one star out because of the following: (cons)1- I like to ‘tune up’ always! ( get the string loose then tune it up) so I was happy to see this feature built in this device, though, after couple of tunings one of my strings snapped and shortly after another one broke! So I disabled tune up option.2- this tuner doesn’t have built in configuration for Flamenco Guitar! I know there is classical guitar settings but if you know a thing or two about music you should know that Flamenco is totally different animal!3- a little bit expensive for what it does.Now, the Good stuff:1- super easy to use, and far more accurate than clipping tuners.2- small size that fit easily in your pocket.3- the winder feature is just over the top! No need to carry many tools ( I do break strings while strumming Spanish Rumba)4- the colorful lcd is neat and cool.5- a single charge lasts forever! Seriously, I got this last month and I didn’t recharge it yet!

I do not give it a full five stars on accuracy. I typically have to fine tune after this little gizmo gets done doing its thing.But other than that, this is truly an amazing product.I have quite a few instruments. There are three (soon to be four) that I play regularly. I use different tunings, and the problem that I have is that I forget which tuning I'm using halfway through the tuning.This little gadget has two huge benefits. The first is that when I restring all of my instruments, it really saves my wrists when winding the strings. The second is that when I have to tune all three (soon to be four) guitars, it really cuts back on the amount of time and frustration involved. And, of course, a bonus third is that I don't have to remember which tuning I'm doing!This little gadget has saved me a bunch of time. If I have to quick-tune in between songs, I won't go grab this because it's usually only one or two strings. But when I'm first tuning at the beginning of a session, I will use this to save time because, quite frankly, two of my guitars do not stay in tune overnight.The Taylor will stay in tune no matter what I do to it.

My Hubby is a guitarist. He knows how to tune a guitar but I bought him this and he loves it. So easy to use and cuts tuning time in half. Perfect gift for any Guitarist.

I really like the way you can create presets for different instruments. There are so many options for alternate tunings, etc., that the Roadie could be the perfect accessory. But it's not, because sometimes it makes such wild gyrations while tuning that it pops the string before you can pull the device off the tuning peg. I had so much trouble with my 12-string, in particular, that I returned the Roadie for a refund.

Yep. I was skeptical at first, but all the glowing reviews convinced me to buy this. I've got to say, my Roadie 3 is awesome!I do a lot of alternate tunings, and Roadie cuts the time to tune down by at least 50%. Maybe even more importantly, you can just select a new tuning out of Roadie's considerable list of alternate tunings, and you don't have to remember the notes in the tuning. Lazy? You bet! But in the heat of battle (on stage) the less time you fumble around, the better.My only criticism, and it's a small one, is that when raising or lowering the capo setting, Roadie gets stumped sometimes. When this happens, I just turn Roadie off and on and have another go. It always finds its way. By the way, Roadie remembers the last tuning you use and always starts with that tuning when turned on.Oh, and for the casual player, those who don't give a spit about alternate tunings, you will never have to sweat while tuning your guitar again. Just buy this. you won't be sorry. I hope Roadie Music (the manufacturer) makes a bazillion dollars with this product. They deserve it.

Great little unit with excellent build quality. Many tunings to choose from. Will adjust your strings automatically and relatively quick with little to no effort. Tunes my Les Paul in less than 15 seconds.The C# Standard tuning is currently incorrect but the Devs will fix it soon. It was reported. Also, App has some bugs like custom tuning sync but should get addressed in the next update. Reported this and I was going to give it 4 stars but the App is separate and should be considered a bonus. The tuner/winder is what matters most and it is functioning as it should. A+

Werkt heel erg goed! Ik gebruik het om mijn ukeleles te stemmen. Batterij gaat heel lang mee. Zou 5 sterren krijgen moest het ook alle vormen van ukelele ondersteunen. Nu is het enkel mogelijk voor gewone of met lage G maar 5- of 8-snarige gaat nog niet. 12-snarige gitaar gaat dan weer wel tot grote vreugde van mijn vriend 😉. Geen spijt van mijn aankoop!
