Are these bottles bpa free? if not, toxins will absorb from the product into one's skin and blood stream. bpa is everywhere and trying to avoid.

Be assured, our plastic bottles are BPA-free and are not manufactured with or known to contain any heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, or hexavalent chromium.  In addition, conflict materials such as tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold are not used in the production of our bottles.  Substances on the REACH SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) list are not intentionally added by our suppliers to the resins used to make our plastic bottles.  In addition, our suppliers do not use any raw materials that are on California’s Proposition 65 list. Does this stink the way most witch hazel does?

It is no longer mild. It is a bit like acetone now. Some genius at Thayers convinced some other geniuses that a formula change is in order. It is terrible harsh now. Dries out my skin and stings a bit too. They increases the amount of witch hazel, reduced the soothing aloe vera and made it very terrible. Avoid!
