Was recommended this balm from a friend as her husband and I both have pretty bad eczema. It’s really effective I must say. Consistency is key though, at least in my case. If you use it daily it helps dried and cracked skin really well, and you have apply it liberally. The tins are pretty decently sized too so it is pretty good value. Only con is it is pretty greasy but that’s a small price to pay for healthier smooth skin.

My grandma got me using bag balm as a teen. It helps with very dry skin. I especially love using in my feet since my feet get so dry and cracked. My hands and feet are especially soft now. I use it very regular, almost everyday. I love that I can also use on my dogs when needed.

The funny thing was that when I got it, I thought I bought the wrong thing and that this was for animals. But I gave it a try anyways. I've always had bad skin, and was constantly breaking out with something... it got especially bad during the winter. I thought I just had to live with this forever. Some people are just born with strong skin and mine is probably weak. Long story short, it sounds silly but I used ChatGPT to help me get to the bottom of why my skin was always doing what it does. One of the recommendations was to use Bag Balm as a way to seal in moisture, along with some other things to treat the inflammation. So I've been using Bag Balm everyday after my morning shower, just a quick thin layer all over. I thought I was gonna smell like the scent but you can't really smell it. It goes on quite nice too, even if you get it on thick it doesn't feel like you have bacon grease on you. It feels surprisingly light for something that looks like Vaseline. After about a month or so, the changes were pretty amazing. Using this as a way to maintain my skin barrier helped treat all the other things too, like the rashes on my sides and arms. This was the first winter where I didn't have to deal with my skin problems. All the dark spots and scarring is also slowly fading, which is very nice to see. Overall this balm is part of a larger regiment I am doing, but it plays a big part in it.

Have used this years ago and it became hard to find. Pleased to find it on Amazon. It is a great multi-tasking product I use after exfoliating feet, put on socks and bit of a spa treatment. Great after heavy gardening and scrubbing hands to alleviate dryness and small abrasions. Have used it on a sunburnt beagle's nose and husbands chapped lips. No odor, a classic healing product. And I love the 'old timey' green tins :)
