yes the trucks do dump/pick up. Each truck has a lever & all the wheels turn.

Can these be used for water play?

Yes, my grandson uses them for water, sand and mud. He is 2 and he loves them!

I bought these and as far as i can tell they dont make noise, yet one has what looks to be holes for a speaker or something on the side. What us that?
