I commute on bike , use this for my back up light - glad I bought it little wobble on my longer lights , I buy olight and Fenix . I'm glad I bought it though - I recommend for those who want to put their pocket light on the handle bars .

Simple but effective product. Allows me to use a very high power flash light I already own for night mountain biking. It is very easy to mount and is super stable. Makes the purchase of an expensive, bike specific flashlight not necessary.

Application: I ride at night and prefer to use 2 bright lights, one on the bike and one on my head. My first use for this mount is on my helmet. Yes, a flashlight on my head looks ridiculous, but it's dark and no one sees how I'm lighting up the path. And if you want to use this on a handlebar, it's sturdy. Product I replaced: I grew so tired of the traditional, holster-style flashlight mounts. I bought this mount so I could move flashlights in an out of the mount rapidly. Quality: Excellent. The mount is a high-quality plastic/nylon and the bands are strong. Just in case, they give you 2 of each band. Versatility: The variety of possible configurations surprised me. The concave fittings can be parallel or perpendicular. Each of the concave sides features a different diameter, so if one side does not fit your flashlight perfectly, flip it and try the other side. There is a small band and a medium band and those can be moved to either of the 2 concave sides. Upon first installation, my configuration gave my flashlight a good fit. After some experimentation, I achieved an excellent fit. Conclusion: This product has been designed well. The insides of the concave holders, for example, have gripping ribs to hold the flashlight. It's a compact, effective solution and I wish I had discovered it earlier.

Too much bouncing, does not work with my olight M22 or heavy flashlights

I had some el cheapo lights on my bike that I do ride in the dark. The rear light flashed red - perfect. The front light had 3 modes; bright, not very bright, and flashing. Trouble is the front light was better for people to see me than for me to see. I have a Nite Ize rechargeable flashlight (the Radiant Rechargeable Utility Light purchased right here on Amazon) that is versatile and pretty bright. SO I bought this universal light mount. It installs easy enough and you will most likely need to adjust the mount so the frame is orientated so the flashlight aims forward. You'll need a smaller phillips head screwdriver to do this. Unscrew the screw, rotate the base 1/4 turn, tighten the screw and you are good to go. This morning was the maiden voyage. My flashlight was fully charged and installed on the bike and away I went. After aiming it, all was good. I ride through some areas where lighting is non existent in places. I was able to see people walking well before I got close to them. The mount held the flashlight where I aimed it. It did wiggle a bit hitting bumps but that is to be expected. This mount will not cushion the ride of the flashlight but I try to avoid hitting the big bumps as there are other consequences in doing so... Having only used this one time, I like it. I don't love it - yet. I like that the mount came with 2 extra rubber bands because I'm sure over time one of them will brake and need replacing. If nothing else, I'll find some similar sized O rings and see how they work. I have a much smaller flashlight that I may test out in the future. Should things change with this mount, I will update the review.
