I hated hit chocolate, the power stuff tastes so bad. But this.. . Oh boy, this changed things. We had the pleasure of trying knoops in London a few years back, they have a shop, that always has a queue! It's pretty similar to the knoops we bought in the shop, enough that I'd take this in its place! It tastes like quality chocolate, so much so that we ate some raw, which was lovely. The price may seem steam for a small amount of hot chocolate flakes but this is honestly the best hot chocolate Iver ever had and has converted me from being a hit coco hater to a lover. Given the quality and taste, the value for money is great. But if you're having friends or relatives around... Give them the Cadbury stuff and save this stuff for yourself!

The packaging was on point the quality is out standing the bag is biger then i exspeted it to be and i could see it though the bag it was perfect the quality of the chocolate is perfectly done and made the best hot chocolate iv had in years and i dont drink tea or coffee but i do like high quality hot chocolate and as great i bye hotel chocolat version but this is my favourite so i be definitely byeing this again highly recommended if ur lookimg for the perfect luxury hot chocolate i had to edit my coment to add i used this to make the perfect chocolate custard last night omg it was really really good it gave perfect ttaste and texture and gos really wel to put some on yogurt to in hence the flavour

This one for me didn’t have as much flavour as I would have liked. It was used with semi skimmed milk and 7 teaspoons of chocolate in a hotel chocolat velvetiser. It mixed very well and was totally smooth to drink but I didn’t get very much chocolate flavour at all. I have tried the 43% and got more of a chocolate taste but that one is too milky for me.

I find the 54% to have the best balance between dark and normal chocolate. You will not regret getting one. Strongly recommending preparing it with your preferred milk (I use oat milk), and keep the milk simmering in a sauce pan for a while to perfectly mix them together. 10/10 would order again. If you do end up close to one of their shops, try one of their hot chocolates and see what works best for you.

Vegan - no diary alternative either making it even better just Coco. Just right bitter sweetness.

When I opened the package the chocolate flakes had formed a solid cylinder of chocolate. I had to transfer the solid mass to a polythene bag and hit it with a rolling pin for quite a while to get it to any sort of usable state. It became a mixture of smaller lumps and powder, usable but hardly what I had hoped for.

Ok taste, but expensive. I now just get a bar of 70% choc and melt 30g in the bottom of a milk pan (with milk, obvs), and use a hand held whisk to get the consistency right. Just as nice, much cheaper.
