Pelican Air 1637 Case No Foam - Black

This item has been absolutely amazing. Using it to carry around my suit/cosplay items is honestly amazing and the fact that this can go on flights is awesome.

Exactly what I was looking for

I spent hours putting together a spreadsheet that ranked 35 of the most popular checked bag gear cases on Amazon and B&H's website, it had multiple companies and ranged from cases $220-$550 and determined this case was the best option in almost every metric. It had the largest internal storage capacity of any case that was NOT considered oversized by airline companies. The best weight to space ratio, and had the best space to price ratio of any other case including any other offers from pelican. The case is made by pelican so durability is never and issue, I could throw it off of a 5 story building and it will be fine. The latches are satisfying to click. And the dimensions of the case commonly lead to me using it as a chair. Not only can I say this is the best case I own. But I can confidently say if you are looking for the largest none oversized checked bag, a great value, and best weight to space ratio equipment case stop looking it's this case.
