Great Leads and great price
As an illustration major, I was getting frustrated with how often I would sharpen away half of a pencil. I purchased a holder for these "leads" and have loved it ever since. Additionally, I have seen these shipped in poor containers but I received this in a small protected box, which I really appreciate considering how fragile these "leads" can be.Pros: awesome color and system for cretacolor holdersCons: fragile, but no more than any artists pencilConclusion: I love the freedom and speed this adds to my artwork.

Great product but you need a holder
Excellent dark black . Ouse it with pastel and itโs great for detail and blends well. I got the holder also which was necessary if you donโt want black fingers.

Amazing for pastel paintings
I use this chalk for my pastel paintings. It provides an amazing black shdladez darker than any pastel pencil. Also, it can be easily sharpened with a pencil sharpener or sanding paper. I use it in my Kohl-i-Noor red graphite stylus.

Arrived broken in pieces
Arrived in a large box full of paper and this very small item was just tossed on top. The item has a cracked case and the item is broken into many pieces. For $18.35 this is quite a disappointment.

I love this oil sepia lead because it's sterdy, and I love to drawing with sepia color, right now I'm obsessed with this. And also, I love Cretacolor, wonderful products!

Each and Every One in Pieces
I love working with these, but they always come broken. This time all but one were broken into pieces no more than an inch long. Buy them instore. When I reported the damage they were immediately replaced.

Box contained only five packs instead of the six advertised and indicated on the box
The leads are really nice to use and produce a rich black with virtually no shine. However, I can only give three stars because it contained only five packs instead of the six advertised and indicated on the box. If there is a way to send me the sixth pack, I will revise my review.
