Great winch! Winches are like fire extinguishers. You hope you never need them but if you need one it absolutely needs to work. Previously had a Badlands winch that looked exactly like this Warn winch until an internal part broke. I found out that there are no replacement parts for the Badlands winch! The Warn winch has replacement parts available and they are covered under the Warn lifetime warranty. So there’s one reason to pay a bit more for a Warn. Have used it several times for vehicle recovery, mine as well as others, and trail clearing and it has always works as described. Would buy again.
