Inaccurate most of the time. Gives unnecessary scares
I genuinely hate this product. Please do not buy if you are a heart patient. This gave me one of the biggest scares of my life. My 2 year old toddler woke up with a viral and was hot and I checked the temperature using this: 105,107.4,106. These are the readings i got. Checked it with two others and got 101-102. (Which are correct btw) I have used many infrared/forehead thermometers but this is by far the worst. I would want a refund because it does not do the one thing it is supposed to do correctly. It gives correct readings 3/10 times and has awful user experience design. DO NOT BUY!

Inaccurate body temperature reading
Absolutely useless on little kids since it requires them to sit still and not to move, which is not possible. Manual says temperature needs to be measured precisely on a spot between eyebrows, otherwise reading will be inaccurate. Even in that case it doesn't match true body temperature that was measured in armpit. Suitable for surface temperature measurement though.

It's ok for an initial check
It's not doing a spectacular job at being consistent - and every time you'll move it you'll get a different result. I suggest being as close as possible to what you're measuring, to get the closest results to reality possible...

Showed error for first 5 minutes
I was ready to package this back up and return it as it simply showed "ERR" on the screen when switched on. After a quick google other people had this issue and all said within 5 minutes then it worked fine with no ongoing issue.... So a couple pf minutes later and it works perfectly with no issues. But weird but would recommend it as its an excellent bit of kit.

This "Braun" item now is worst than the cheapest models.
Is always showing 1°C more than normal, over 37°C. Tested against 4 different models. 36.1°C is 36.8°C on this. 37.0°C is 38.0 °C on this. This item is a bad joke.
