Seems like a solid sharpening stone especially for the price. I used it once to sharpen my fiskar chopping hatchet, it did a good job. Should be able to use it for many more sharpens

What a product! I have purchased automatic diamond sharpeners and expensive manual sharpeners that utilize bars/v shape holding. These claim to be dummy proof. I have not had great results on tough steel. This simple thing however - i used for maybe 2 minutes and have a paper cutting edge on a knife I have never been able to sharpen. Very pleased. Will buy again. Note this is good for tough steel. Suggest a polishing stone for minor cleanup.

This sharpening puck delivers excellent results for my hatchet. My preference has shifted from leather cases to the included nylon one, primarily because its design facilitates much faster drying. Previous brands I've encountered suffered from noticeably soft grit that rapidly degraded; this puck, however, exhibits a demonstrably superior density, ensuring both durability and extended utility.
