Not a perfect fit, but functional
I needed to replace the tuners for a 1950s Russian prima balalaika. These did the job, but it is not perfect. As mentioned by some other reviewers, the tuning pegs were slightly closer together than the original, so I had to expand the holes slightly, which was pretty easily done with a round file. The pegs themselves are slightly shorter than the original factory pegs, so they don't come out as high above the stock, but this did not impact the tuner. Buyers should also measure the thickness of your headstock, as the screws that came with this were slightly too long. As a result, two of them protrude slightly from the front of the headstock. If I had paid for my instrument, I would have been upset, but this was a rescue from a garbage pile, so it was OK. After installing the pegs and adding new strings, I am happy with the result.

Close but no cigar
Decent, not pro IMHO & I would suggest taking extra care when measuring before purchasing. Amazon is very consistent with customer satisfaction. In my case I knew prior to buying these that I would need to modify instrument, in order for them to work They were close but "no cigar" just fyi

Works
Decent quality tuners. I put these on my 1974 Lunacharsky (USSR) prima balalaika. This is a one piece assembly with three tuners on it, so you cannot change the distance between the tuners. The posts are spaced a little more widely than the factory tuners, so I had to enlarge the holes in the peghead. Unfortunately in the process I cracked the top. Should have just used a hand file rather than a power drill. Also the included screws are too long, they would have come out the other side of the peghead. I had some other screws that worked.

The thickness of the headstock must be less than .75 cm or so...
These are fairly inexpensive, and the quality is reasonably good for the price, however, they didn't work for me. I have a Roosebeck prima - fairly decent instrument, attractive wood, etc., but not good pegs. The original pegs slip no matter how tight the screw is - tuned to pitch is very temporary. The peg spacing on these matches, so it seems like a win, but the pegs on these machines are short - under 2cm overall, about 1.25 cm from the plate to the string hole. My headstock is too thick. In fact, the hole doesn't even clear the top of the headstock. Measure carefully.

Just a bit on the small side
Just a bit too small for my balalaika may have to do a little metal working to try and get them to fit

They worked, much better than the original tuners.
Only problem was the distance between the tuners was not the same as the original, so I had to modify the headstock of the balalaika so they would fit. I threw away the screws that came with these though, they were small and misshapen, I substituted guitar tuner screws.

Not necessarily the same as the original
Tuner pegs not the same distance apart. Will have to either modify the wood or find different set.
