Worx MAKERX WX741L.9 20V Angle Grinder (Tool Only)

We've been using the Maker X as a family now since we got it for Christmas. It's such a versatile tool...my kids love it for all of their craft projects. I added the grinder attachment for a few of my own metal refinishing projects, including a couple of outdoor furniture pieces I'm prepping for spring. The grinder, like the entire Maker X system, has worked fantastically. So lightweight, easy to maneuver in tight places - perfect power and performance.

I recently added this Angle Grinder to my Maker X set. It really has completed my crafting toolkit and I am SO excited to try out all the different things it can do. I’m an avid crafter/maker, but live in a small space, so I don’t have room for large power tools so this has been a game changer. I can still do all my projects without the hassle of clunky tools, PLUS It works with the same batteries as my other worx tools. Simple, powerful, and perfect for my small craft needs (recently made some holiday signs, next up some candle holders!)

This grinder is not real powerful but is great for small jobs when access to electricity or a compressor is limited. It is very small and easy to maneuver in small areas.

Purchased for 3d plastic printing and custom mini fabrications. This tool can not cut even the lightest of metals, aluminum, to trim screws to proper length nor can it sand or grind anything requiring any force.. This tool stops with even the lightest of resistances, too late to return so I am stuck with this tool. If you need a portable mini cut off tool like this one look up Dremels version just release for 80 USD or grab a dremel rechargeable kit as they outperform in ever way... if Works wants to send me one of these updated to actually have so.e power I will consider revising. Otherwise the tool is not worth buying g at all.

This mini-grinder may be perfect for your project, but know that, even though it uses a 20V battery, it is sorely underpowered for many jobs. Under very little load and with next to no pressure being applied, the motor will stop when the blade or disc meets resistance, as it would when the blade is touching more surface area (as on cuts through material, or when flap sanding an object.) I have used it only on plastic and soft wood (pine). So, I am disappointed that it cannot do what I had hoped and expected from a 20V tool. Some of my small projects can still benefit from its portability and small size even though I will have to keep restarting it whenever the underpowered motor decides to quit, so I have given it 3 stars for those features I will find a way to use. It's definitely not my dream tool.

I actually use this instead of the super pricey hoof boss to trim my goats' hooves. It needs to be turned up the whole way to work for this task, or it will shut off. Running full tilt like that, I can finish 4 feet before the battery dies. So, gets done with one goat at a time. Not super efficient, but it does do a great job while it is running. Not so loud that it freaks the goats out, although mine are pretty used to me messing with them and have been clipped, and the noise is not much louder than clippers. I would like to find a second battery so I can get through more feet in one session, but overall I am happy with it so far. Just hoping it holds up over the long run!

Perfect and a real hit for this Christmas! Buy this you won’t be disappointed for real. I generally don’t write reviews but had to for this product!

Power micro tool, great for small projects

This is a great little mini cutting disk cutter. For tight areas got me out of jam with bathroom new toilet. 🇨🇦🤘😊

I have an old ford. Trying to get the dang bumper off because someone before I owned it had added a bush bar that does nothing to it, now makes it impossible to remove. So after trying to ratchet it out, burn it, and seemingly can't get to it with my grinder. I though, I have the battery part and I completely forgot they made the angle grinder. It came today and it got the bolt cut no problem. Highly recommend this.

The grinder failed, would not accept power, sent it back to get another one. The second one works fantastic.

I needed something that uses a battery and compact to sharpen my lawn mower blades and various cutting tools and it is perfect. Easy to use and does a great job.

if it is the tool , make sure and tell them that to use tools they will have to buy 200, dollars more of tools to make that tool work , as I bought another tool and , it was all there , not this tools only idea , , same as if I say box of tools for sale , but it is only the box ,as you have to buy the tools , so complete set , as why and who would do that , with out trying to mislead a person to force and frustrate person to buy or send back
