I ordered my surf leash from Ho Stevie (dude, such a badass name.. I don't even understand it, but it sounds awesome, and I am always happy to help a small business team :D) on Sunday, September 25, 2016, and it said it would arrive by Friday, September 30th. Usually, I'm like, "Meh! Okay, well it might be a few days late, as that's usually how many online deliveries go." That being said, it came to my doorstep, as scheduled on September 30, 2016. So thank you Ho Stevie for sticking true to your word! To continue, the actual leash is wonderful! It comes just as shown in the picture: mine was green, and plastic tube coded. The inside cuff to wrap around my leg was sturdy, padded, and is extremely durable. I have taken the leash out on two surf trips so far, and going under 3-5' Orange County, California surf waves has not pulled or extended the leash thus far. It is sturdy, really attractive, but most of all, works on my board. Occasionally, it wraps around my leg, but I feel like my surf leash before did the same. My only quip is that it did not come with a key holder as promised in the picture. That being said, I would never bring my key into the war and trust it to stay within a small 1" velcro apparatus, in the water, while being pummeled by waves. So it's really no loss to me whether I have a key holder. SOOO all in all, Ho Stevie! 5 out 5 stars absolutely. The courtesy email sent to me after buying my leash, inquiring if I was satisfied with my purchase, was an unnecessary, but most appreciated gesture, which I believe makes for top notch customer service. Thank you for going the extra mile, thank you for the leash, and I would recommend this to anyone looking to save money, while also looking for top quality in your surf gear.

A good leash. Feels good, and little drag in the water. It is taking a bit to get the kinks and bends out of the leash.

I’ve purchased several Ho Stevie! Items now and they never seem to disappoint! Bought this leash for a new 5’8” I got and took it out in 8’-9’ surf the day I got it. Leash held up well, was comfortable on my ankle, never felt like it was going to snap and Velcro held tight even in heavy waves! Performed to my expectations! Leash is not cheaply made. Has swivels at both ends. Good Velcro. Extra loop to easy disconnect the ankle cuff. Key pocket. The small cord that attaches to the surfboard seems robust. Haven’t been in any major clean out sets with it yet. But it has this far endured 6’+ swells from hurricanes Eric, Gabrielle, and Humberto. So far I am happy with the purchase

This lease has been attached to my daily driver for almost a year and it is a killer leash. Super durable and lightweight. Finally snapped during the huge winter swell we just got in SD. Happy to support a local company with a killer product.

Best leash I’ve owned. Great holding Velcro, easy to find release tab, extremely strong and absolutely no tangle issues. Higher quality than bigger name brands at an even cheaper price. Time to upgrade the entire quiver

I am not by no means an advanced surfer. I went out in overhead surf with this leash and got tumbled good. While being pulled down and not able to come up to the surface for an extended time, I had to pull the leash to bring my board close to me so I can climb back up to the surface. Even then the board took more hard hits. But the leash stayed intact great. I don’t know how things would’ve went without this leash. Quality is proven to be great from this experience.
