Review: GET Over it people - I purchased the 65 as a test, if it didn't fit me it would fit the wife, and at 5'5" it did perfectly. I am 5'8" and it was too small for me on the softer side. If I blew it up till it looked and felt like a basketball, then yes it worked great, but isn't that defeating the point of buying it in the first place? The 75 worked awesome for me. I had it full, but not tight. Just like a balloon the more air you give, the bigger it is going to get. The ball themselves are awesome. They have the sand like stuff in them to help them stay in one place, and it does it's job very well. I use this as a chair to help me out with medical problems, so I am not going to lie about what it can or can not do for work outs. All though my wife uses hers for work outs and loves it. Now, for all the CRY BABIES out there, yes this ball comes with a small pump. You are getting an awesome product at a freakin great price, so then you are crying about the free pump? The pump is small, but it is free. If you don't want to get a cheap pump, go spend more money elsewhere. Off my soap box. The material does have a slight smell but is very weak, and it fades fast. I guess if it was made out of cotton it would smell a lot better. If you have a sensitive nose, then most of theses will have a sent to yourself and would recommend setting it out to air out before blowing it up.. Fo those that are looking for a good quality stability ball at a great price, this is for you. If you think there should be a $10 pump given out with a $20 product, this is definitely not for you. You have been warned. Review: Going strong two years later - I didn't mean to select a weighted stability ball when I ordered this two years ago during a spinal fitness obsession and I think it's even a bit too large for my height. I've used it anyway to stretch out the front of my body which is tight, tight, tight from too much sitting. And, I did try using it as a replacement for an office chair for about a week before I missed the 'lean back' and foot propping of the real deal. The weight is provided by sand or something that shifts when its lifted and it doesn't roll away as easily as non-weighted balls. I use it at least once or twice a week and it has has held up extremely well and survived regular disinfectant showers. This past week I happened upon the DVD that shipped with this ball. It was right on time since I've been looking for shorter workouts and this one comes with both a 40 minute and a 20 minute 'express' style. They are pretty doggone good. I didn't expect to be challenged or to feel like I'd done anything but, as with most fitness activities, you get out of them what you put in. The DVD has more than the usual ab crunches and incorporates a little cardio. All of the moves with the ball incorporate elongation and stretching. I've been extremely satisfied with the ball and the discovery of the fitness video has added new moves to my repertoire.

Going a size larger
I ordered and got the 55 cm ball. Being that I am 5'2" it was the recommended one. But I find it too small and that I sit too close to the ground with my knees up a little too high. I have decided to order the next size up. I will see if that feels more like I am "balancing". Once I get it I will compare the two to see which is better for me. Overall the ball is a good quality and I don't really notice a smell except for that "new" plastic smell. As for the pump...I had no problem with it and it only took minutes. One thing to mention tho - it does say a bicycle pump can be used on the ball but you must have the adapter for it. You would want the nozzle air pump adapter. So if you order this and plan to use your bike pump be sure to order the adapter nozzle too. (Which I have done with the order of the new ball.)

An excellent and obedient ball.
Update -3 stars: I also have a BOSU ball that can't stay inflated and I thought the chemical smell was coming off that one... However... I realized that my exercise clothes were smelling hideously and not from sweat. Whatever chemicals that are in the ball rub into your clothes and skin. Basically this is a big toxic orange and every time you use it, it leaches its toxic juices. I do not recommend this ball, specially for people with small kids or pets who may touch it and then lick their hands or lick it directly. I can only think what happens with those chemicals once they are on your skin... Do they get absorbed? I find it very particular that this ball didn't come with the California warning about cancer-causing chemicals. Sure, they were worst things back in the day.... But look the onset of cancer cases growing and growing. I think it is better to play it safe. Online shopping is hard because we can only see pictures of the product - we can't smell or feel or inspect. I am glad Amazon is very understanding of this. I hope this review helps others avoid a leachy ball if they are concerned about limiting their toxins exposure. What's the point of exercising on poison? It is like eating chips while walking. I love it; however, I cannot keep it as the product page fails to mention that this ball is idea for heights 5' 6" to 5' 11"... I am too tall apparently for the ball - which shows when I sit on it and my knees cannot be at 90 degrees. The ball is easy to inflate - much much more easy than the BOSU Ballast Ball I got with my BOSU Trainer. The pump provided a workout on its own. It was certainly fun to inflate. It required a lot of pumping but it was nice to burn calories that way. It comes with three plugs - one of them is inserted in the deflated ball to prevent the sand from leaving the ball and making a mess - my best guess. Once the ball is at the size you want, you can easily remove the pump nozzle and quickly put your finger on the hole to prevent air from escaping. Then, you can easily slide the nail-like plug under your finger and pump it into the hole. The whole process is smooth and I lost very little air. Smell. There is a noticeable smell to new plastic - PVCish - which is the material of the ball. I am sort of sensitive to smell but this one did not bother me too much. The ball feels very anti-slip. I am not sure if that is the intention of the material, but it feels like you stick to it. I thought that was a good feeling as you don't want to slip off the ball. The sand inside certainly keeps it in place. I think this ball is a good purchase and it is a nice addition to your workout inventory. I would love to be able to find the blue one that is 75 cm in diameter but it is sold out everywhere. I would now have to find a new ball. Note: My ball did come with a dent near the hole, but it somehow became less pronounced as it has inflated. It was also dirty lol

Really Up the Abdominal Workout!
I have no idea what I did with the DVDm so this review is for the ball. First of all, we had no issue blowing it up, and it has retained the air for months, so there is that.It seems to be very high quality material, and I LOVE the weight! I do crunches with this thing, and it REALLY increases the workout, I mean, wow! I did ab work the other day at the gym with an un-weighted ball, and it was ridiculous, so easy! This really 'ups the ante" so to speak. If you want flat abs, hurry up and get one.

Sometimes needs a little re-inflating and the sand part is a little hard to get used to
First off, people complained about the hand pump. Get over it. It's not that hard. If it kills you, get a foot pump or use a modified bike pump. But seriously, I'm a weakling with weak hands, and impatient - yet somehow I inflated the ball no problem. It does require some re-inflating (maybe once a month), to keep things tight. It's not like it deflates, it's just I like the ball to be at a consistent firmness at all times. The ball is nice and sturdy - though I haven't quite mastered the weighted bottom yet. I like it, it just makes some exercises a little different than I'm used to. The DVD is helpful for that. One thing I wanted to point out is the sizing. I'm 5'3". Technically, I think I was supposed to get the smaller ball. But there's no way! The 65 cm ball is a perfect size for me. I use it for crunches, wall squats, lunges, etc. Anything smaller would not offer nearly enough support. When in doubt, definitely go for the bigger size.

I (didn't) have a ball
After eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Reebok Stability Ball, I opened the package, got out the ball, the pump and the instruction sheet and immediately set out to inflate the ball and watch the DVD. Unfortunately, after several unsuccessful attempts at blowing up the ball - each time thinking I was doing something wrong - I realized the the pump was not working properly. Air was escaping from the side(s) of the pump making it impossible to create enough force to inflate the ball. Thus, I packed everything up and sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Refund process was efficient and painless - thanks Amazon. So, while I cannot provide a review for the Stability Ball itself, I can attest to the poor quality of the flimsy plastic hand pump, hence the one star rating.

Worth it!
Bought this ball to use as a seat during late pregnancy, and plan to use it for a seat, baby bouncing, and exercising after she's born! It's a very thick material, filled up easily even with the included little pump, and is perfect for my needs and size (I'm 5' 7"). The sand is a must have if wanting to use this for sitting since it keeps it stable, and I'm sure will provide just enough weight when doing some stability exercises. The orange color is also very nice! It does have a strong chemical smell at first but is wearing off. Definitely worth the money!

Great Deal
This item is fantastic when combined with the dvd. The exercise dvd is fun, informative, and relatively easy. I'm glad I made this purchase!

A Stability ball worth considering
I've bought 2 of those and bin using them since last week Regarding a previous comment about the diameter. This ball is hardly a 65cm ball. At 50-55cm you'll be wondering if your done pumping the ball since it looks pretty rigid at this point. Altough siting on it, it will be obivious (from a spectator point of view) that you need to pump it a little more... I've stopped pumping arround 61-62cm but i could have pump it all the way to 65cm ....seem rigid enought to me at this point They've put sand in the ball (witch you would be able to remove if you want to), at first i was kind of finding this annoying, but after getting use to it, its pretty nice....it prevents the ball from moving arround, and since i'm using one of them as a chair, i find this a good idea. I've received 2 cds, 2 balls, 2 cds, thats easy math. Altough one of them is defect (cyclic redundant). Well actualy, you can easely see on both cds reading layer that they have bin skratch....must have bin the entire production from what it looks like.....so you might not want to count on that....or bother asking them for an other cd...i guess The pump that comes with it is pretty much only for the ball as i don't see it fit anywhere else even though they said you can use it to pump your bicylcle tire.... but it,s pretty nice though to get a pump with your ball and not having to search for one .... you get also 3 stopper for the ball So overall, theres a couple of thing that they could improve other than the ball itself.... beside the fact that the ball could be made a little bigger It's a good ball, well made, anti-burst and the texture let you know that it's made from better material than the cheap 10$ ball So i'll give it a 4/5 ** A week later, i can tell that the ball is a 65cm ball, probably the fact that for the first few days it did strech and i can pump it to 65cm diameter and have it perfect

Fixed my posture problem
I've used this as a seat for 2 years at work on and off to 'sort' out a posture/back problem - which is now 'sorted'. So, I guess it did the trick. The constant movement to balance yourself keeps your core working and also helps you to remember to 'sit up straight', etc. A good, big, blue, rubber ball...

Great Workout Ball
This thing is great! It has sand or something in it so it doesn't roll too easily. It's also very strong and durable. We use it for working out and bounce on it while holding our toddler so he falls asleep. Great buy!
