Very nice
Radios are good. We test them as soon as we open the boxes. Only one charger is not working; that is the only problem we encountered. If this were replaced, we would be glad. Thank seller

Good for the price
Good product for the price. They are light wait bright and you can hear clearly.

External Mic Not Built Well
These radio work very well easy to program etc. The walkie Talkie feels well built, clarity of speakers is good as well. My problem is the external mic clips are NOT built well. The first mic I attempted to use, the clip broke. The mics could be larger as well. I will have to look and see if there is a replacement mic I can purchase for my team.

Good radio poor hand held radio Extension
I received the radio and they are working great but the hand radio are very poor in quality. I had to order a better set for the project I am using them on. They just don’t work

Reliable and Trusted Brand
Retevis is a very reliable and trusted brand for two-way radio communications. Two way radios are common in industrial settings, and I have used many Retevis products over the years. These radios are an excellent value for a small business or for family use. The dual band provides great options depending on the terrain or outdoor versus indoor settings. No radio will ever achieve the advertised range unless outdoors with zero obstructions, but the range on these radios is excellent. Much higher than the 1 mile many reviewers often claim, but you have to know your surroundings, interference, etc. Battery life is also excellent and convenient cradles are included for fast recharging.

I like them better than Beofeng
So totally personal opinion, and quality wise the rt85 seems a little more solid built than some of the other radios in this class. The battery life is somewhat shorter compared to some baofeng with stock batteries though not terribly so. It has some features as well that others do not that I have found use for. I’ll be buying allot more of the rt85 as a primary analog handheld.
