This is the closest additive you can get to simulate the natural habitat of Bettas and koi. Added to spring water, your fish will love it and if you change your water by at least one quarter each week, it will help your fish stay stress free. Your tank will last longer between total cleaning. Cheaper too than buying better water.

I have Angels , Rams, Discus and this helps condition the water and keep the fish healthy

I like the product but I wish they had it in bigger bottles, the reason it’s in a small bottle is cause people keep bettas in small tanks well I have a 10 gallon and 2 bottles is how much I would need to meet the dosage ...buttt this is a very good product and I highly recommend it if you have a small aquarium like 5 or less gallons

This is our Stoplight Shrimp Aquascape 10 gallon cube tank. We have red, blue and yellow Neocaridina shrimp. My husband will puts 2 cap fulls in when he does his water changes. It will tint the water and shrimp like it.

My fish did like this, and it’s easier than dealing with rotting leaves, but you go through the bottle really fast if you have 5-10 gallons to treat. I would order more, but it’s not cost effective. I’ll just deal with the leaves.

While I feel like this product could be very efficient for Bettas/Shrimp, it is not for Snails. My very healthy and active Mystery Snail died within 24 hours of the first application of this. Not really happy because he was big & beautiful. There are no warnings listed that I can see about this.

Very pleased at the health of my aquatic life with this product. After giving it a long time to properly view and calculate results, I’m very happy to recommend this product to others with comparable species, to both seasoned aquarists and especially to beginners that may never have had someone share different knowledge and its options. I would request there was an option to buy this in a larger quantity. Not only to save money, but for us that needs lot on regular basis. ^^

My betta, Edward Scissorfins, looked a bit sick when i got him, but since adding dark water, he has become lively, active and feisty!

My betta fish likes the tannins, but honestly they're not very concentrated and it takes quite a lot of this to even colour the water in his 10 gallon. I think a better bang for your buck would be to buy a cheap piece of shrimp wood and just boil that when you need to top up.

Ça ajoute un peu de tanins mais il faut en mettre beaucoup, même dans une 5 gallons. Mes filtres ont arrêté de marcher parce que les éponges étaient toutes collées. J'ai dû les laver et j'ai un peu crashé mon cycle 😬 je ne sais pas 100% si c'était les tanins mais.. C'est JAMAIS arrivé avant.

This stuff has definitely helped my bettas, I just had no idea how long it’d take to get here. Took over 2 months when I first ordered so if you always want to have a supply of it you need to order it again in advance before you need it otherwise by the time it shows up it might be to late. Other than the shipping delays it’s a good product and I do continue to use it.
