My house spans almost exactly 2000 sq ft, and the signal reaches every corner with impressive consistency, leaving no dead zones whatsoever. Even outdoors, I'm getting a robust 50 Mbps — a night-and-day difference from before, when the WiFi signal wouldn't reach that far at all. Overall, this has been an exceptional upgrade and a thoroughly admirable piece of hardware. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with patchy coverage or underwhelming speeds.

The TP-Link Deco M4 has been a great upgrade for our home network. Product was ok but cable supplied along with the equipment was defective. After replacing with another cable, the equipment started functioning.

Pros • Speed: Achieved 100% of my broadband plan speeds by using Cat7 cables for the backhaul. Hardwiring is definitely the way to go. • Stability: Using a switch ensures that if one satellite node goes down, the others stay online. • Efficiency: Wired backhaul frees up the wireless bands entirely for your devices, reducing congestion. • Easy Management: Binding devices to specific nodes is a great feature for stationary tech like smart TVs or consoles. Cons • Roaming Hiccups: The "handover" isn't seamless. When moving between rooms, devices stay "sticky" to the further router too long. This causes brief lag or drops during live video calls while the system swaps signals. • App Limitations: The mobile app is missing advanced networking rules. You won't find DHCP reservations or Port Forwarding here; you'll likely need to use the local Web UI (192.168.0.1) for those. • Signal Transition: Requires a bit of distance/time for the device to "realize" it needs to jump to the closer node. Bottom Line If you have the ability to run Cat7/Ethernet to your nodes using a switch, this system is a performance beast. Just be prepared for slight "hiccups" when walking around during a call. My original Wifi router performs better than this booster. We will have to connect this booster to the router. So practically I am not finding any use. Where Router is not reaching this Booster is also not reachable. I am not sure if its worth to add more to the Mesh. Sitting next to Router and Booster, I see network drops when connected to the Booster, but Router is working fine. I wonder why I have to pay more to get worst experience.

In the past I have changed ISPs, routers, and used extenders to get a seamless WiFi at all corners of the house. I live in a 2 bhk flat so I thought it’ll be an overkill, but due to all the interferences and everything, getting the only router signal steadily at every corner was a challenge. Then I came across Deco M4 and bought a set of 2. It works perfectly and whether I am siting at my work desk or in the hall or in back side balcony, it covers everything well. The phone or laptop never hunts for the WiFi coverage. You have various options to manage the network efficiently through the highly functional app. Overall, it’s a great purchase and a great value. I plugged it to the LAN port of my existing ISP router, turned off the router WiFi access points, the app seamlessly set up a new Deco network. The deco is being used in Router mode. No issues whatsoever. I used the same network name for Deco so I didn’t have to sign in any device separately, including bulbs and printers.

Great. Unboxed it and they’re supplied with eu plugs. Now I’ll need an adaptor.

Great device, easy to setup directly to the NBN modem. Additional Deco Mesh can be added seamlessly as needed throughout the house. The parental controls are bonus through Deco app, can control your kids laptop internet access duration and block any websites.
