Cozie Plush Dog Toy with Squeaker (Marvin The Moose, X Large)

This toy is very cute and durable. My dog and I play tug with it a lot. No signs of tearing. I highly recommend it.

My 6½ month old puppy picked this toy out himself. We were at a puppy training class at my local Petco and he kept grabbing at this particular toy every time we walked past it. I don't know if this interest was due to the color or shape, but there was something about the green alligator that got his attention above all the other KONG toys displayed there alongside this. He stole it off the display so many times that the fur on the toy was getting stiff from his drool and I felt obligated to buy it. Turns out I am glad I did because it has become one of his favorites and has proven durable for a plush toy. In the "Ali the Alligator" listing photo there appears to be something tied around the neck of the toy. At first I thought the version shown in the photo had eyebrows but after looking at it more closely I think it is just a ribbon that might have once come tied around the neck. Mine did not have this and judging from customer photos their toys did not have this either. I am uploading some of my own customer photos along with this review: 1. The toy laid on top of a ruler and measuring tape and as indicated in the listing it is 9" from the nose of the alligator to its tail and also 9" across with the legs fully extended. 2. The tag indicates this is polyester fiber fill with a plastic squeaker and that it is "Made in China". 3. In my final photo you can see that the toy is in tact after a week of play with only dried drool-stiffened fur on the toy to show it is any worse for the wear. The packaging indicates, "Cozies are perfect for a game of fetch or as a comfort toy for your furry friend" but also that this is not a chew toy. If you go to YouTube and check out the KONGvideos channel you can see their product video called "KONG Cozie". In this video the dogs are chewing on this toy, shaking it, etc. I guess those dog actors were working off an instinctual script and not the one printed on the package. I get they print this disclaimer because (as shown in some of the review customer photos) a lot of dogs can destroy a plush toy like this fairly easily. I don't expect this to last forever, maybe a month or two, but in terms of joy it brings to my dog it is a great investment and well worth the price I paid. As of May 2016 this toy only costs $4.27 here on Amazon (I paid $9.99 elsewhere) and I have no qualms in recommending it to others. Great value.

This is the only plush my dog can’t destroy. He’s torn pieces of fabric off, but this gator is mostly in tact.

Nice size for a standard poodle size dog. She loves it. Speaker feels sturdier than a general sized noise maker

My boyfriend and I are picking up our new puppy in May, so I've been researching around Amazon for the best dog toys. I will update this review when we actually have our puppy and I can accurately review how she is with it. However, I wanted to point out something I noticed as soon as I got it out of the box. I knew this was a squeaky toy, so when I first got it, I automatically squeezed around the middle of the toy to see what it sounded like. To my surprise, it did not squeak or make any noise after squeezing it multiple times. It wasn't until I handed it to my brother that he noticed the squeaker was located near the rear end, right side of the moose (exactly where the Kong Cozie tag is.) This was a little annoying to me as I knew that the puppy would have to hold it a certain way for the toy to squeak since it's not in the middle of the toy where it will get bitten/chewed most often. After a little shifting though, I was able to move the squeaker to the middle part of the toy to where it will squeak more often when the puppy holds it in her mouth (presumably.) As I said, I will update this review when I see my puppy actually playing with it. I just thought this was something to point out to others this might have happened to, or are planning on buying the toy. The squeaker is movable, with a little work :) Update: So I have a 6 week old Australian Shepherd and she really loves this toy so far. I got the medium size and she really enjoys chewing on the moose's antlers and arms and legs. I like to tug on it with her and squeaking it at the same time and she loves it!! It's showing no signs of wear yet, but I'll update again as she grows. Update: almost a month later, and this moose is still going strong!! We tug and tug on it all day long. It has become her favorite toy. I've also put it in the washer about 3 times now (due to accidents in our crate) and it is holding up so well!!! If it happens to fall apart anytime, I will definitely buy another one. Update: my puppy is now six months and this moose is still her favorite! Although, we may have had one tiny accident. We have tugged and tugged on this moose so much that one of his arms came clean off!! The stitching on these toys are genius. There was no open hole for stuffing to fall out and we are still able to play with the toy just as much as before, only Abby has one less limb to tug on.

Our pup LOVES this toy! So much we’ve bought 2 just incase one goes missing or anything. It’s held up incredibly.

misleading in many ways. It doesn't have any Velcro with inner gift. The squeaker wore out in 3 days. However my doggie took an immediate liking to the toy, for whatever reasons. Not durable though.

My dog loved the toy. Usually he tears any other stuffed toy on the first day itself. But this one is a tuff one!!

Smaller than expected and did come with a pen mark on the face. My dog is a chewer and within a day had a the ears and hair bitten off, next came a back leg. Monkey is still holding strong with 3 legs! Hahah been a few weeks now and my dog loves his “baby”. Would deff recommend this product. It is durable - it’s just my dog is a chewer!
