The beret was well sized for me. I have a head somewhat larger than normal. I also have thick hair. The beret fit well and was not tight or uncomfortable. I am pleased with purchase.

My inner hat band circumference is 16.5 ", but is quite stretchy. The outer, visible circumference is 33".
