Belly Oil, Pregnancy & Postpartum Skincare for Stretch Marks, Quick-Drying for Full Body & Soothes Irritation, Plus Vegan, Clean & Plant-Based, 6.7 Fl Oz

I was very skeptical because I’m aware that there is no product that the medical community would consider truly effective stretch mark prevention. But, this stuff works. First, I’ll explain how it worked for me and what my routine was. Then I’ll go into some of the secondary benefits. About me: I’m 35 and have some existing stretch marks (ex: I have them on my thighs from puberty, etc.) So, I know I am predisposed to them. Therefore, upon learning I was pregnant, I was diligent in my research and application. As I type this, I am 39 weeks pregnant without a single pregnancy stretch mark, despite fully anticipating them based on my skin composition. I am shocked. I applied Hatch Body Oil to my breasts, stomach and hips 2x/day (morning and night) from the day of my positive pregnancy test. I will be the first to admit I liberally applied this, throughout my entire pregnancy, despite the $64 price point. For example, I doubled up on my stomach area. Throughout my pregnancy, I used around 10 bottles, and plan to continue purchasing during my postpartum period. This is an investment to be sure, and the only reason I could see someone not hitting the Buy button immediately. However, I did not mind the expense based on how effective and high quality it was. I also think that starting early, way before I was showing, helped condition my skin appropriately to withstand the eventual belly growth. The most important part of this oil, for me, is that it worked— surprisingly well. However, there are secondary benefits that I will explain here: 1. Luxurious packaging and experience: This oil comes in a glass bottle with a glass pipet/dropper for application. Using this oil felt luxurious and the packaging high quality. Incorporating this felt like an addition to my beauty and skin care routine, not something messy or medicinal. 2. High quality oil. Period: I would recommend this as a high quality body oil even outside of pregnancy and outside of my original use case. I’ve used many body oils in the past just for moisturizing purposes and this one is the best I’ve used. It is non-greasy and absorbs incredibly quickly. As mentioned, I used this oil morning and night and it did not damage my clothing or pajamas. It leaves skin feeling very soft and supple without any “oily” residue. 3. Attractive scent: Light, attractive scent 4. Overall skin condition: Outside of preventing stretch marks, the skin itself in the areas where I applied it is softer, smoother, and healthier than ever. I highly recommend Hatch Body Oil to anyone, particularly expecting mothers. This is an high quality product worthy of the investment!

This was amazing and smelled great, especially when I had bad nausea throughout my pregnancy. I have very minimal stretch marks. I’m 37 so definitely worked on this belly skin. Would use daily after shower and anytime u feel any dryness on skin. It’s pricey but worth it.

Love this stuff!!! I have been using this Hatch belly oil throughout my pregnancy. At eight months, I'm halfway through my third bottle. I use it daily when I get out of the shower and follow it with Palmer's Cocoa Butter massage lotion for stretch marks. No stretch marks to date! Sooo grateful and totally worth the price. It smells great and doesn't irritate my skin. It also doesn't leave any grease on my clothing. By the end of the day, my skin is still moisturized.

Amazing oil! Worth the price ! It’s light and keeps skin hydrated and won’t stain clothes. It also doesn’t have a strong smell so that’s always nice specially during pregnancy. I’m 8 months and no stretch marks I know it can be genetics also but I feel like the oil has helped with that also!

Belly oil is an excellent choice for body care, especially for pregnant women. I suggest applying it consistently from start to finish. The light fragrance and non-greasy texture make it ideal.

Purchased this for the second time! I used this oil during my first pregnancy 2 years ago and just purchased again for the second. Not sure if it’s genetics or the oil, but I did not have a single stretch mark after my pregnancy. I used afterwards during recovery since it is so hydrating. No weird smell, not too oily. It is expensive, but I believe it works! Love this product!

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and so far, so good! The packaging is beautiful the scent is minimal which I don’t mind at all. And it leaves my skin feeling soft and I haven’t had a single stretch mark yet (hopefully we can make it the next 10 weeks without any) Now.. the reasons I can’t personally give it 5 stars is because I personally feel like this oil takes a long time to soak into my skin and not feel oily, i only wear my robe after applying it because I’m nervous it’ll ruin my clothing and because of this I find that I can only apply it at night and a lot of reviews recommend using it 2x daily. Another reason I’m only giving it 4 starts is the price point, it is quite spendy and I find that I go through a bottle in about 2 months and that’s with only using it 1x a day, thankfully I didn’t really start showing until 20ish weeks or I would’ve passed on this product due to affordability.

So far I’m loving this oil. It’s very mild smelling and luxurious.
