ASURION 2 Year Sporting Goods Protection Plan ($250 - $299.99)

I purchased the 2-year Asurion Protection for a walking pad I purchased about 1.5 years ago because so many reviews on the walking pad complained about the equipment crapping out shortly after the one-year manufacturer warranty expires. This seems to be the case with most walking pads from what I’ve seen. I tried reaching out to customer support of the walking pad company to be told that the issue was the motor; however, they do not offer replacement parts. Basically, the walking pad is unusable and nothing can be done. I documented the damages and gathered all the data I figured I would need to file a claim with Asurion. I logged onto the website and provided the requested information: name, e-mail address associated with the order, order number, equipment type, brand, model, cost, and a brief description of the issue. That’s literally it. I hit submit claim and immediately was notified that an Amazon gift card covering the full cost of the order was in my e-mail account. Sure enough, there it was and ready to use. I’m honestly shocked at how easy, fast, and painless the process was. I used the gift card to purchase a new walking pad and without hesitation I bought the Asurion protection plan for that as well. Worth every penny.

I purchased this insurance protection plan in the event that my treadmill may malfunction. After 1 year and much use, the treadmill gave out and I was able to utilize the insurance to put in a claim and receive a voucher toward the purchase of new gym equipment.If you're thinking about buying the protection plan, I strongly encourage you to follow through. This $27 purchase wound up saving me nearly $300.Super easy to put in a claim.

I had an issue with a mechanical item that I had purchased a protection plan for.I had began gathering and typing all the information of what happened and even took pictures. I even waited to call the company when I had mapped out some time to talk to a representative. Boy, was I completely Surprised and Impressed with how quickly things were taken care of. The representative answered after a couple of rings. He was polite efficient and proficient. Within minutes he gathered the information, he typed it up and we were finished.Thank you Asurion.A Harris

I highly recommend taking the insurance as I dropped my bike by mistake just within the first week of using it. And Asurion team was really helpful in filling a claim for me. Unfortunately, it could not fixed so they ended up refunding me the whole price of bike I paid. Their customer service team was very polite and I appreciate their help throughout this process. The $$ for the product is worth it, don't risk it.

Was expecting paper warranty, because kept saying it was lost or delayed. It actually comes as an email only. Should state that

I wasn't able to get a replacement part for my mini treadmill from the manufacturer, because Amazon couldn't get in contact with them. It would have been an easy fix. The item was still under warranty. Asurion refunded the full amount of treadmill with a Amazon gift card almost instantly. Such an easy claims process. Thanks Asurion. 😊
