Amaryllis Bulb 'Royal Red' - Growing Amaryllis Bulb in a 13cm Pot

I was delighted with this amaryllis. It arrived rather more than half grown, and flowered within 2 weeks, just in time for Christmas. It had four flowers in succession, at one point all four were wide open, and it looked gorgeous. It lasted (from first flower to last) for about 3 weeks, just right to last over the Christmas and New Year period, which was what I'd intended, to cheer up what was otherwise a rather downbeat time with no get-togethers or outings. Much appreciated.

Nice bulbs. Well-packaged

This beautiful Amaryllis, i bought as a present for somebody, it is beautiful, it has so many flowers on it and another stem growing with more flowers to come out, we have never seen one as nice as this.

the bulb had already started growing when recieved and having planted it immediately it hasn't grown well and flower has dropped off before opening. Very dissappointing as was bought for a present.

Came ready potted and grew in leaps and bounds. Had one stalk with five flowers and a second one with four flowers. All flowering at the same time so needed a strong stake but looked amazing.

Amaryllis plant stem curled round the bulb in Box. Soaked bulb in water planted bulb with cane to support it after a couple of hours started to straighten up. A lovely bud so hoping a good flower comes out. Not sure if this is a none off bulb but don’t think I’d buy another.

Plat was broken on arrival

I was very glad to find this seller as I couldn't find an amaryllis locally. The plant arrived within the time frame and in good condition. On the whole I'm happy with the purchase, but as I'd ordered red, and the label with the plant said red, I was quite surprised to find that when it flowered I'd actually got white! No problem with the quality, just wasn't what I was expecting.
