Poor camera and horrible app
The quality of the video is poor. The app is unusable. It keeps disconnecting from camera with the error "Failed to connect to camera". Then the spinning wheel is spinning forever saying "connecting to camera access point", camera keeps making bleeping sound, and nothing happens. I spent hours trying to load the video from camera.It takes over your phone wifi connection disconnecting from the home wifi. Phone must be connected to the camera using both Bluetooth and wifi, camera acts like a hot spot, and phone location GPS must be running. It drains phone battery from 100% to 20% in no time.Bluetooth is needed for camera control and wifi for sending video from camera. Not sure why gps should be running on the phone since camera should have its own gps. When camera app is running, it is not possible to use Google maps on the phone to obtaing driving directions. Camera app is a real masterpiece of art.Just have to constantly fight this camera trying to keep it connected to the phone. Spent long time on the phone with app support person. Instructions for the app were not provided and without explanation it is not possible to set up the app.I do not recommend buying this camera. It is not worth your time troubleshooting all the technical issues with it.

Good budget Dash Cam ($63) wide angle clear picture. Easy setupRecommend because it does the job well.By itself its a good buyOne big drawback is the app interface.Takes a long time to sync with the app.Maybe its the 13promax or maybe the app itself.That is one area that should get an upgrade. Maybe a lighter versionEven after the firmware upgrade its the same takes forever to sync with the drive smarter app

Very good video quality, portable, easy to connect and setup. GPS location and speed records is very helpful when you may need it. Power supply Hava an extra USB charging port.

Hard to setup
It was a struggle getting this setup. I bought it because of the fact that it is car play compatible. However you can't view the videos on your phone when connected to car play. It has a built in gps but the map is not as good as google maps. I have found it impossible to get the time and date set correctly. Great videos and when it goes on sale again I will but one for my wife's car

Better than nothing
This is advertised to be expandable up to 128 GB. I got a 128 gb class 10 card and the device WILL NOT recognize it. My husband tried the 64 gb card that came out of his old dash cam and that didn’t work either. We are forced to use the 8gb card, which is better than nothing, but not preferred. My husband’s cell phone is a new model samsung and the WiFi connectivity is terrible. If you can live with all that, it does record video and the video quality is pretty good.
