Works With the Roku Premiere
We needed another remote control for our Roku Premiere so we didn't have to share one. This one works great - no problems at all and it's compatible with the Roku Premiere. Now I don't have to remember to bring the remote from the other tv to the living room!

Works for Roku boxes NOT ROKU TVs
Remote works fantastic! Do not purchase as a Roku tv remote replacement!! This doesn’t shut your tv and it doesn’t control volume!! This is a replacement remote for the Roku boxes! But works perfectly for the Roku boxes.

Good little replacement remote for Roku Express!
I ordered this remote to replace another generic replacement remote I had previously purchased for the Roku Express on my basement tv. That one was very sensitive to how you pointed it, and if you were not exactly holding it just right toward the receiver it just wouldn't work - - had to hold exactly level at the right height and angle - - very frustrating. After reading several positive reviews for this remote I decided to try it, and since it was so inexpensive, I figured "why not". It arrived in good order and after I placed fresh batteries in it the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to control the Roku now. No more holding the remote just so-so, though still a bit more sensitive than the original remote (which would actually work pointing at the other side of the room) this remote seems to work just fine. The buttons are set lower in the faceplate than the originals, but after a few times using it that is not a problem at all now. All the functions seem to work very well, and although the overall construction seems a bit cheaper (and much lighter) than an original Roku remote, we are talking about less than an eight-spot here, so it works now and that makes me a happy camper.

Factory replacement as new
Works as it should. I had gotten a Roku without a remote and this let me activate it and register it perfectly. Would recommend.

This remote’s true functionality
Do not buy this one! So far this remote has excessively gone through batteries. Additionally the buttons are not always responsive. Recently the buttons will have a corner get stuck as if it doesn’t fit correctly. Too many issues! Too cheaply made. Buy better quality!
