Estimating nitrate levels.
If you are using these for finding potable water, they do a good job. It is clear when a source is unusable, borderline, and excellent with regards to nitrates. Easy to use and affordable, thank you all!

Great for spot checking my saltwater aquarium.
I have tried other brands and seems like the ones with 5-7 tests on one strip are no good for Nitrate/Nitrite. I use these for weekly spot checks, and then an advanced test kit once a month for checking all of the water parameters. These strips are very accurate and help me avoid problems. Note: I have a low bio-load in my tank. With more fish I would recommend testing more often.

Imperative to have high quality water
We have our own water well that we test weekly and the state tests monthly. It is one of our highest priorities as a home owner to insure the quality of our drinking water and the purity of the well. These test strips let us know if there are any nitrates/nitrites lurking around from chemical runoff of the surrounding fields and any infiltration of waste water from upland of ours. We count on these strips in addition to our water purifier and filtration system to keep us healthy. In fact most of the surrounding rural homeowners also use these strips.

Life saver
So glad I got these strips, gives me confidence where my tanks water status is. Wish they did ammonia strips to but found JS wave ammonia strips a good partner.

Everyone needs a way to test pool and spa water nitrate levels. This works.
Seems to work fine to inform me of my nitrate levels. I have come to the conclusion that the only reason for chlorine or salt in a pool is to combat the growth of algae and bacteria due to nitrate levels. Someone needs to develop a way to remove nitrate from the water.

Great low-level nitrate test strips
Great for testing for low level nitrates. I keep discus fish and nitrates are kept at about a level 2 which is too low for most nitrate strips to effectively read. These are great if your fish require low nitrates and you need a quick solution for testing without the regents and mess of traditional kits
