No problems with this cable the connecters have a nice fit with my car 12V PD45W charger and Surface Go with full charge speed of 30W with the cable and connecters remaining cool so this should work fine with higher power type-C laptops and other devices so highly recommended.

This USB-C to USB-C cable by Satechi is 10 inches or 25cm in length. The cable is nylon braided with grey aluminium heads and some subtle branding. The cable feels premium and looks really good. I use this on a number of devices from charging my iPad and portable speaker. It even comes in handy to connect my ssd to my computer. It can charge smartphones up to 100W with a compatible charger and can transfer files at 480Mbps. Overall an excellent product that I would happily recommend.

I think for most people a cable like this only makes sense if you have need of a short cable. Since I do have such need, it's a useful cable to me. The packaging is actually very high end - I don't believe a cable really needs such great packaging, to be honest. A simple plastic bag would do. But it's an indication of quality, I guess, and that also follows through into the cable itself which feels extremely well made and high quality. One big plus about this cable is the ability to deliver up to 100w of power (depending on charger). I only recently found out that some cables can't carry that much power and did wonder why my Macbook would take longer to charger with some cheaper cables I've used in the past. I probably wouldn't use this cable for charging the Macbook, but it's good to know that when I use it to charge my GoPro or Osmo Action from a big powerbank I'm getting as much juice out of the powerbank as possible. A cheaper cable wouldn't do that. The cable itself is of the braided type and it feels very durable.

Well wanted a less stiff cable to connect my external ssd to my Mac. On the stuff cable which was always trying to tip the SSD over 3350 in black magic read and write. With this cable 34. Yep 1% the speed. So steer clear of this one if you want to connect a high speed SSD to a Mac

In light of Linus Tech Tips’ own certified cable which self guaranteed to meet specifications. I wasn’t sure if this Satechi cable would measure up. So far, it has performed as expected. It reliably powers and transfers data between devices without dropouts or detection issues But i have use dit only occasionally in the past 2 months. By comparison, a similar cable from a generic local Swedish shop failed to detect my devices consistently, highlighting the importance of quality. The Satechi cable feels sturdy and trustworthy, delivering full Thunderbolt 4 functionality without the common pitfalls of poorly made alternatives.
