This was bought as a gift but we opened it, tuned it and tested it first so we could demonstrate what it can do. It's so much fun, we'll be buying one for ourselves, too! It sounds very soothing and there are lots of songs online for you to learn. You do need to tune it upon receipt with the little hammer it comes with and using the tuning app they recommend (it's a free app). Then it remains in tune for a reasonable amount of time. It's pretty looking and sturdy and easy to pick up for beginners. Highly recommended!

Great quality, wonderful sound! I have yet to tune it, but even out of the box it is very nice to play. And for that price, it's probably the best value for money musical instrument I ever bought!

This was bought as a Christmas gift for my grandson who plays piano, so I thought this would be a nice stocking filler for him to try out. I was a bit dubious about the quality since it was one of the cheapest ones listed but, its. lovely!! Its exactly the same quality as some of the other ones listed for double the price. I bought the natural wood one. I would definitely recommend it.

The kalimba is easy to use. The sound from it is so lovely. I love the colour. Its small, so i could easily fit it in a handbag. Easy to tune and lots of YouTube posts to help me learn. My daughter loves it too, I bought her one so she can learn too.

This instrument is absolutly beautiful. Bought this as a gift for a musician who really liked it. I tried to play on the kalimba myself and liked it so much that I am going to order one for me. The sound is beautiful and it is really easy to play some melodies

Please forgive the video - the way I set up the camera was a little hard to play at the same time 😅 This kalimba is absolutely beautiful, both aesthetically and by sound. It sounds almost like a music box and the tuning process is simple - it took me around thirty minutes to properly tune my kalimba, but when I was done I felt super accomplished and was fascinated with the sounds of each note. The book included comes with instructions on how to play two songs, but I personally would recommend looking up what you want to learn to play online. Avatar's Love is a pretty common kalimba song and is very simple and beginner friendly. This instrument is fantastic for people who may never have played an instrument before. It is easy to learn and to play, and enjoyable to practice. The instrument is quiet enough not to bother your neighbors if you live in an apartment and loud enough to play for a room of people at the same time. The blue color is very pretty and easy to clean. It does not get dirty easily. The keys do need to be cleaned; the wipe provided in the bag is pretty much good enough to do so. I would fully recommend this product. I have anxiety and ADHD and wanted to see if it would help, but the sounds the kalimba makes are extremely calming and satisfying. If you're debating on if you should get it, let this be your sign to go in!
