This thing is great. Magnet is strong so it doesnt fall off but it can be pulled easy enough when someone needs it it is available quick.

Works great
I like the magnet it’s really strong. How ever I’m supper picky and I simple do t like that you have 4” your regulator hangs past for me and this is just me I like o ring type it holds the end and don’t have 4” over. Other than the and if you don’t mind that it’s great.

Good magnet, annoying to install
Kind of annoying to install- had to purchase an extra tiny screwdriver. It’s also a little difficult to attach to my bcd with the small opening in the clip.

This is the best octo holder I have used so far.
I have not bought a cheap one but I know this one works extremely well. Its good enough to hold well but easy enough to pull in emergency. Its well worth the 30$ to me.

Best Octo Clip ever
I love this octo clip. I used it for the first time diving this past weekend off the coast of Jupiter. Even with the strong currents I don't have to worry about it detaching. Its a very strong magnet that seems to do the job!

Many drawbacks for the price
I do a lot of shore dive in low visibility cold water in Seattle. This octopus holder attaches and detaches well but it has many drawbacks: —The part of the product that attaches to your octo hose comes with a plastic wrapper insert. If you don’t use it, the holder part is too loose and will slide up and down the hose. If you do use the insert, which will prevent the attachment from moving on the hose, you better make sure it’s oriented in the correct direction. Otherwise your octo twists in an unnatural fashion and the torque from the hose kink is prone to disengage the magnet. —My magnet and the screw are already getting rusty and sandy after 10 dives. The rust hasn’t caused any issue but the sand makes the magnet less effective and causes dislodging very often. I guess this is more of a lazy user error. If you brush sand off the keeper often it would be less of a problem. —The magnet dislodges due to various factors (sand, twisted hose) and I’m constantly putting the octo back. Fortunately it’s easy enough to find the magnet and just have the octo snap into place. —The worst inconvenience is that the magnet interferes with compasses and flashlights with sliding switches! You have to make sure your compass and light is on the opposite side of your octo which is usually on the right in recreational diving so compass and lights all go on the left! It’s not a perfect product and I would say if you don’t have the money to buy one and decide for yourself then just get a tradition hose keeper that is more secure and won’t detach or mess with your equipment. It’s too expensive to take the risk with this one.

Works like a charm!
I pretty much stopped buying dive gadgets years ago, but until now haven't been impressed with any octo holder. This thing works, and works well! Very strong magnet that keeps my octo connected even from high drop in entries. Got to me in the time promised and the price is reasonable.

Worth the extra money.
I have this on my kit and dive 4 times a day everyday and it works great. The cheaper ones will begin to rust. About 500 dives on it and no issues. Don’t be cheap and spend the money, it’s worth it.

Exactly what I wanted, arrived promptly and good quality and easy to fit. You will need a small cross-head screwdriver to secure the section to the hose of your octopus. Be aware if you have multiplex hoses as I did they provide a small piece of plastic buffer that can be cut to size so that the unit does not slip and slide along the length of the hose. Ideal product, and if you are concerned about he magnet affecting your compass just order a retractable holder so you can bring your compass up in front and away from the magnet. By me tests further than 18cm and the compass is unaffected.

Facile da agganciare e sganciare anche sott’acqua. In caso di necessità basta applicare una forza lievemente più intensa e si libera immediatamente. Comodissimo per riagganciare l’equip al gav , infatti metà del gancio rimane sul gav
