The flavor is completely unexpected. I tried this at a friend's party, and was hooked. Imagine the flavor of caramel or toffee, infused with the little bite of sharp cheddar. You can't eat a lot of it, as it is pretty rich, but for a little treat, it is wonderful. Melt in your mouth goodness.

Awesome Norwegian cheese, so hard to find. A very different flavor from regular cheese. It has a sweet caramel taste. Delicious. I was so thrilled to find it during time of shortages. It was a rare treat. Brought me back to Norway. Thanks Amazon.

This is the classic Norwegian 'fudgy' cheese. I prefer the tanginess of the blue label version but it is much harder to find. An enjoyable treat to remember my trip to Norway.

We discovered this wonderful, creamy cheese while visiting Norway. Once we got home, I ordered it and it arrived in a cold pack and was fresh. It has a caramel after-taste and is very creamy. Spread it on crackers or eat with fruit, or even by itself.

If you have never tasted Gjetost (Norwegian goat cheese), you don't know what you are missing! The flavor is almost like caramel...sweet, creamy, delicious. Love it on warm toast (how I had it as a child) or paired with fruits like apple or pears.

Still to high priced !!!

Creamy carmel flavor. Melts in your mouth. Good with apples!

This tastes very authentic. The actual product is very small though.
