Bye Bye GNATS 😃
If you are dealing with gnats in your house plants, GET this sand, I have been going crazy, using neem oil, everything!!!! Gnats constantly trying to fly up my nose!!!! The plant is in my bedroom, I literally had to cover my nose with my sheet to sleep 😡finally I got the sand because I saw reviews, OMG it works!!! I would water the plant first, otherwise some of the sand just filters down into the soil—— put a GOOD layer of soil, totally covering every square inch of your plant, I put a clear dish of water added some dish soap to the water , stirred it, put it next to my plant, I have been doing the water and dish soap since I started with the gnat problem, my dish was loaded with them constantly, after putting the sand on my plants soil, I have gnats in my dish soap bowl but NO GNATS in my plant, none flying around, I’m going to change the dish soap water , I’m expecting to not see any in there any more, I’ll do a follow up, but OMG, I am SO thankful to see the BUGGERHEADS gone!!! Thank you dear sweet Jesus!!!!! The gnats like moisture, that’s why they also went to the water dish soap bowl, they get their wings slippery wet from the soap, they can’t fly out of it, I am beyond thrilled to not having gnats fly at my face , trying to fly up my nose!!!!

Works great for gnats
I was honestly struggling so much with those annoying little bugs flying around my pots. Nothing seemed to work until I finally gave this a shot. It cleared everything up way faster than I expected. I am so relieved that my plants are finally gnat-free. You should definitely try this if you are dealing with the same issue.

Pale colored, but not white
Love their sands, but this was not as white as I had hoped. It was a light sandy color, but not white. Still great sand, but not for what I needed.

Just as described. Light fine sand which I'm placing on top of soil to minimize gnats should they try to settle in the soil. Good price, good size and hopefully pest resistant.
