excellent
This item is a commercial grade inverter. Very efficient and built well. I would suggest this to any user that needs "perfect" power.

GFI defective.
Would have given a 5 star rating, but the GFCI was defective and the inverter would not provide 110vAC. Had to remove the GFCI and wire around it to get the inverter to provide 110vAC. It works great with the GFCI removed. If you install the inverter and the GFCI has a red light on and can not be reset, the GFCI is defective and will require removal for the inverter to provide 110vAC. The manual does not address this issue.

Initially worked as expected. Make sure you have one with the latest firmware. Purchase April 13, 2016. On April 19, 2018, while operating in normal charger mode - no inverter operating - the device started sizzling and smoke appeared. It only lasted 6 days beyond the 2-year warranty. I took the unit to Magnum's authorized local repair provider. Troubleshooting identified that the AC and FET board smoked. Repair price: Replacement board = $519; Labor = $125; Tax = $53.13; Total = $697.12, which is 82% of the original purchase cost. Contacted Magnum customer service tech support. Representative said that just the way it is, and he quoted the replacement AC/FET board over $700. Our first and only Magnum experience has been one I would not wish on anyone else.
