I bought these electrolyte tablets because my nutritionist recommended improving my hydration, as I was a bit dehydrated. Honestly, they surprised me in a very good way. Since I started taking them, I’ve felt much better—more energy and less fatigue throughout the day. I really like how easy they are to use. I just dissolve one in water and it’s ready. The taste is pleasant, not too sweet or artificial, which I appreciate. Plus, the fact that they contain important minerals like magnesium, potassium, and sodium makes a noticeable difference, especially after walking or doing physical activity. It’s also a big plus that they are vegan and gluten-free. Overall, they’ve worked really well for me, and I would definitely buy them again. I thought I was ordering the Nuun rehydration tablets but what I got was the new Nuun ACTIVE. Looks like this is replacing the old ones which maybe are not going to be available anymore. (?) A quick look at the list of ingredients shows they have made a number of changes. Probably to avoid compounds that were a concern. Pro - I've only just started using them and, so far, only one flavor, but I think I like the taste better. Con - there are only 10 tabs per cylinder. They are thicker than the old ones but still each tab is to be mixed with 16 oz of water. So the cost per tab is a bit higher. In my 25 oz water bottles I use 1 1/2 tabs each fill up. Still I am giving five stars. These are incredibly convenient for cycling. I keep a tube in my saddle bag, fill up with free ice and water at McDonald's or 7-11 or wherever and then add the NUUN. In Florida summer heat and humidity I consume about 25 oz every 10 miles and these are a big help in staying properly hydrated. Update. I saw all the negative reviews about the new NUUN. So i tried the grape flavor, may have mixed it a bit strong too. Yes it has an odd taste and some aftertaste but old NUUN had an odd taste too. I think long time users may have gotten used to the old taste and unexpected change can be hard. The old NUUN would sometimes give me just a bit of a sick feeling in my stomach especially if I drank it warm. This new formula does not seem to do that. 45 miles on the bike today in Florida heat and humidity. I consumed five waterbottles that's 125 oz and 7 1/2 tablets. No problems. I am happy with the new NUUN. Only wish there were 12 tabs per cylinder. Also, new thicker tabs tend to get stuck in the cylinder and are hard to shake out.

I'm losing bigtime weight. Could not figure out why I was having dizzy spells. Esp after workouts. This did the trick. Its conveinant and only takes less than a minute to pop one into your water bottle. Good product. Probably better to get this one because even with the small amount of sugar, Its not sugary. I will purchase again.

Now this level of dehydration is not a first world problem, but its mild-moderate severity is universally common. pros: makes staying hydrated easier, whether that be for activities, studying, or working - all scenarios where one can forget to drink up. variety of flavors makes it easier to not get bored of it. packaging is as slim as possible decreasing waste. also a desiccant has been built into the lid to keep tabs dry. tabs are scored so they can be easily snapped in half which you'll need to do in order to drop into disposable water bottles. cons: many of the flavors are similar - lemon/lime, citrus, and orange. should consider a larger variety of global flavors. such as cooler versus tropical locations. Simply consider skittles and their profiles. i wish an alternative to plastic could be thought of that were more eco-friendly for packaging. conclusion: if you're too lazy to whip up your own oral-rehydration salts from scratch (salt, sugar, baking soda, water), this is a great alternative. just wish they could add a little more variety to the flavor combinations. also this was selling for nearly half-off on WholeFoods online, and is sometimes cheaper in stores so keep an eye out for deals.

I do a lot of running / hiking / cycling. Despite drinking adequate water, and being in shape I would cramp often during workouts especially long hikes. During my workouts etc..., I sweat a lot including having the white sweat mark stains on my hats, burning sweat when it gets into my eyes and being my dog's favorite salt lick after a workout. After a lot of research and trial and error, I began taking these Nuun tablets. I noticed there were other options, but tried this one in part because of the sodium and taste mentioned in other reviews. Most of my activities are 2+ hours and I sweat a lot. After consistently using Nuun by pre-hydrating and/or post hydrating with them, no more cramps. Salt marks - yes. Being a favorite salt lick - yes. I accidently went on a much longer hike that expected and hadn't hydrated with any of the tablets. I cramped despite having sufficient water etc...Lesson learned! The flavor is great! Often I add a little bit of juice with the water and tablets. The bubbles are fun. I don't drink soda, so when I do, I notice it. Drinking the water with the Nuun tablets - I don't have the same effect from soda carbonation. The sodium content is kind of high so if your are not working out regularly and/or sweating a lot you may want to consider your consumption rate . I don't use them daily when not working out which is rare. I am usually working out almost daily 1.5 hrs each day (5 to 7 days a week). Cost wise - they are very reasonable. If you consider the cost vs having a debilitating calf cramp on the last mile of 12mile 2000 ft. elevation gain hike while on a ridgeline slow from a 4mi/hr pace slow to a 1mi/hr pace, they are worth every penny!

I got these to use for hot weather when I’m outside all day and sweating a lot. I also plan to use them in my water while I’m in labor to stay hydrated. The tablet takes a bit to dissolve fully in the water. I had to break one up so it would fit into the opening of my bottle of water. I don’t like the taste of plain water, so these tablets help me keep up my water intake with some nice, light fruit flavors. I like all of the flavors. To me, it tastes like fruity, watery, alka seltzer-gatorade. It is not very sweet, but I like it like that. Just enough of a flavor to make me want to drink it, but not super sweet like a lot of sports drinks. (My husband hates the taste and wants it to be much sweeter.) I feel better too after I drink it, like it actually is replenishing the electrolytes. I would buy this again.

Nuun hides behind environmentalist. They got rid of the score line to save money (their process is easier now.) People online are advising you cut a score line into the tablet. They sell PLASTIC wrapped powder sleeves for an uncharged (~33% per serving) so it's about the money, not the environment. They likely use the same machine that emergenC uses to produce their tablets. This saves money by not building a new process. EmergenC is used as needed though, not routinely so it's OK for emergenC, but nuun is a routinely used product for hydration (multiple times a day.) Because of the uncharged, the difficulty splitting tablets (the people who say it's easy, don't try all the flavors. Some are very difficult. I started getting nerve pain lasting long AFTER splitting the tablets by hand. Im middle aged... I've used knives, pill splitter etc. Nuun removed the score line, over sizes the tablet, uncharged you ~33% per serving (or in total as that's how percentages work) for the convenience of not splitting (isnt it born in powder form? Don't you have to press it into a tablet?) They sell tubs of powder (only two flavors (3-14-25) but the value isn't there either. It's less plastic, but they sell convince at a premium and tell the consumer We WaNt To SaVe PlAsTiC WaStE! To top it off, the plastic tube the tablets fit into is now part of a law suit for selling empty space occupied by a plastic spring that could have been topped off with product. They're saying it's deceptive packaging and hides the sound of empty space thus fooling the consumer as there is no other purpose. I think the law suit is a bit much (they label the number of servings after all.) MY point is, if they cared about the plastic, they wouldn't use a plastic filler spring, and extra plastic walls. Nuun is motivated by money, not world betterment. Don't forget it. Buy a different product until nuun wants to compete with a better product and quit lying about it's motives. I bought the most heavy duty pill splitter (pill mill (aluminum, steel)) and it doesn't fit, so it crumbles and I need a funnel... put your environmentalism where your mouth is and sell the powder tubs at value LIKE EVERY OTHER DRINK MIX COMPANY. And reduce the plastic footprint caused by filler space. Put three more tablets in there instead of a plastic spring, and uncharged 30% (to account for three more servings) if it's the environment you care about and not simply THE LOVE OF MONEY. You know them by the fruits of their labor, not by their words EDIT: many of the tablets break in half easily making them not fitting easily a very minor issue. Not the same experience from the beginning. Maybe only some tablets are tuff, or maybe nuun reformulated their tablets. Hopefully it's a change.

These came nice a dry this time :) , last batch were a bit damp and had stuck together a bit but were still usable . The effect of the tablet is good and muscles stay in better shape in high humidity work outs. Taste is good as well
