Great bang for your buck. Bought one in 2022 and it lasted until 2026. It died mainly because we have young kids that dropped it on the ground a few times otherwise would prob still be working. Overall it's a good desk clock and gives off those mid century modern vibes. While it's plastic, the price point would require it to be mass produced with cheaper materials.

Clock worked fine until time to make the time change, gently changing time, the clock broke. No longer able to change time, clock was useless. Chinese junk.

This is a cool little clock, however my specific clock turned the hour number before the minutes reach 00. For example, when it turns 8:59, the 9 appears until the last minute when it becomes :00. It also make quite a loud click sound when the hour mark changes. Could be easier way to adjust the clock also. I like the vibe but a little complex. Minor stuff but thought you should know before buying!

For some reason, I like these mechanical numbers and they’re hard to find nowadays. Both of mine are accurate time pieces. Nothing fancy here just a battery powered clock with no lights. Complainers might take a note that you only adjust the clock forward. I haven’t tried it, but I think trying to go the other direction breaks it. So do not over-shoot. Also, there’s no place to store the tool that helps set the clock. The battery lasts a long time and you’ll probably forget where you put it. Luckily, you can do without it, but it is a little more difficult.

I love this little clock! After a year so far, it works, it keeps time, it’s quiet. I have it on the bathroom window sill and it never fogs up. Some of the reviews said it is loud, but it’s not. It has a cute little click every minute/hour and then when it resets at 12:00, it’s a pretty quiet little twang sound. Maybe just as loud as dropping a quarter on a leather couch. It’s a little larger than I expected but even better! My only complaint is how easy it could be to lose the little winding key thing. But even if you it’s it wouldn’t be hard to change the time.

It is a cute clock, but the hour does not flip over. The minutes work well, but I have changed batteries many times, and I have still had to reset the clock. The hour does not want to flip over. I am truly disappointed.

The clock wasn’t working when It first arrived. The cards were jammed together and wouldn’t flip over. I took it apart and fixed them. Afterwards, it’s been working fine. But who really wants to do all that?! It’s a cute clock, but hopefully yours works when you receive it.

The clock started sticking (numbers not turning, or turning too early) almost immediately. I fixed it several times and now it’s permanently stuck. Don’t waste your time on this cheaply made clock.

Nice basic clock with the 1960/70's flip card mechanism, white color looks good, given as a gift. Powered by a single 'AA' alkaline or carbon type battery, so you can place it where you want without having to worry about power adapter & wires. This is the second battery powered flip clock I have purchased, the battery lasts for over a year. (Note: the colon that is between the hour/min numbers and the other decal shown on the clocks face are decals I added using a Brother label machine, not from the manufacturer). Some reviewers have said you should only use a basic carbon type 'AA' battery available at most dollar stores, this is not the case. I have been an electronics technician for 40+ years specialising in battery powered products (Specifically, retro/classic battery powered toys 1950-1990) using an alkaline battery will not damage or shorten the quartz mechanisms life. The clocks body is basic cheap plastic with a thin plastic clear cover, but it looks good and for the price it is a fair deal. You can get a better quality battery powered flip clock here on Amazon but the price is much higher, $90+. Overall for less than $30, this clock is a good buy. Easy to set with the small slotted tool that is included, but note ONLY turn counterclockwise or you could damage the internal gears. First time set, adjust time to one minute past the actual time, to allow the gear set to line up the card rolls, wait a few minutes and adjust if necessary. If the time remains 1+ minutes ahead, pull the battery for 10 - 20 seconds & reinsert. Overall this clock is unique and a conversation piece, a good buy for less than $30. All the best, MPS :-)
