Heavy Duty Battery Switch With Good Electrical Conductivity, Master Disconnect Terminal Link, Universal 1.7CM Diameter

Took a moment to realise that there is a right way and wrong way to fit it. Initially it didn’t appear to fit onto battery terminal - seemed to small. Just needed to turn it over.

It’s a nice sturdily built product. Unfortunately could not fit it on my Fiat 500 as not enough space next to the negative terminal. Not the products fault though

It doesn’t fit standard UK battery terminal posts. The clamp diameter is too small for the negative post and the corresponding post is too small for the car’s earth cable clamp. Also the design, which appeared to offer different angles of Fitment, actually creates another issue because as soon as you loosen the wheel to disconnect the power there is nothing holding the cable- side in place and no spring mechanism to hold the gap apart between the contact faces, so it wouldn’t be a clean disconnect and I suspect would create lots of sparking as the two faces are not held apart.

It works but is a bit sloppy and does move about when unscrewed to isolate the power.

Used iti mycaravan to ensurethat whilst I have the van in store the battery is totally disconnected. Simple to fit and seems to do the job perfectly.

I wanted an easy way to disconnect the battery in my car & this is an easy fix, it doesn’t always disconnect so you need to be a bit careful sometimes

Very good. Just make sure you fit it the correct way round.
