Great way to dial in your overall tone!
Awesome cost effective way to dial in your tone. I’d thought about incorporating an EQ into my effects/pedalboard and there are a ton of options ranging from highly affordable to ridiculously high priced. I gave this a try just to see how adding an EQ would affect the signal chain. I just slapped it on as the last pedal which was compression/overdrive/delay and was genuinely surprised at just how great it sounded. When you are limited to the typical low / mid / high knobs on any guitar or bass amp you can’t fully explore the range of possibilities your amp and speakers are capable of producing. This EQ takes things beyond what your amp may be able to produce on it’s own making it much easier to quickly tailor the sound to be more of what you envision in your head. I practice at low volume, and just being able to add that low boost beyond what the “bass” knob of my amp gave me even dimed makes a huge difference in the perceived feel of the whole experience. It sounds great, is quiet as far as I can hear, and makes playing more enjoyable enabling you to get more of the sound you are after. Very nice unit and a great price !

good and cheap
Great for pedal steel - little to no tone suck.

Great for pedal boards!
Great price, works as advertised. Great for pedal boards. The high frequency does emit a static noise when turned up but I was able to get around this by running it in my chain before my compressor pedal. This allowed me to compress and remove the hum while still getting the frequency cranked on the high end. Would have been 5 stars if no noise at all but I mean for the price you can't beat it. All other frequencies only enhance or takeaway as they should. Recommend more for boards so you can run it through noise reducers/compressor pedals ECT after. Will still function solo and you can keep highest frequency stationed in the middle or a little above to avoid slight static noise. And you can still turn it all the way down if that's the sound you desire. This is all based off my setup and amps though. Definitely recommend giving it a try. Solid metal and comes with Velcro stickers to station to your board.

Well... My search goes on.
NGL, I was really excited about this EQ. Probably too excited. I got my hopes up and was pretty disappointed. I guess that it's what you'd expect from the price, but still.. Anyway, here goes: I love the tiny form factor and wide range of adjustment. These were my reasons for choosing this over any other EQ. I play violin and viola, and I wanted fine adjustment over a range of frequencies. My pedal board is small, so I needed something that wouldn't take up too much space. I couldn't find anything that fit my needs better than this. On first glance. While it may appear to be a perfect EQ pedal, it's way too noisy to use on stage. It's not not just a fuzzy noise either. It's a weird almost digital sounding noise that ruins any clean signal. It's fine with distortion, and I'll probably find a way to use it, but as the primary input EQ, it's just not going to work. Add to that that the volume sliders are weirdly not smooth--they don't do a whole lot except at the very end of their range--and it's altogether disappointing. Not totally unusable, especially if you're using distortion, but for any clean tones it is super annoying.

Awesome
If you need fine adjustments (audiophile) choose something else. Maximum 3dB up and down on all sliders and they aren't very linear. Think of an exponential graph. The sliders don't do much till they get to about 75% and then have a noticeable change again through to 100%. That being said, it is VERY good. Middle notch makes returning sliders to 0dB easy and exact. It's built solid out of metal. Form factor is ingenious for a 7 band EQ and the price makes it the best value for a equalizer pedal hands down. Even though mine was clearly used I don't care. It's good quality and does what it needs to for me and doesn't take up space.

High quality and great price!
Being already familiar with the brand (which is awesome btw), I was searching for an EQ pedal and as soon as this popped up, I was just about ready to purchase it. But, being the inquisitive person that I am, I looked it up and did a quick fast finding mission on it. And obviously I ended up getting it and satisfied. The amount of EQ pedals these days is insane. In every price range and design. I always like a good mix of booth and this is no different. EQ is mostly a "set it and forget it" pedal, at least for me, so I didn't need a fancy display or very extremely accessible controls. I use it for my "dirt" channel to get the most low end i can since i play mostly 7 strings and this definitely accomplishes that and more. Its easy to scoop the mids out and leave the highs in tact and push the low end to the deepest depths. And while I don't currently run an EQ on my "clean" channel, when i decide to make that leap (which will be soon), I'm gonna get another one of these. Now, don't get me wrong... just because it's not a very hands on pedal by function, it is a necessity. And while the choices are endless, I find that 7 bands with a level control is the sweet spot. 5 isn't enough and 10 is taking things too seriously. Its small and well built and fits into my "lego" pre amp I built. (lego just because of the interchangeable parts) So a second one will look just as good as it works. It completely gave me what I didn't know I was missing from my tone and then took it further. Built like at tank. Affordable and reliable. Doesn't harm your original tone so what more could you ask for?

Surprising clean boost.
Doubles as a clean boost in the effects loop. Its a secret weapon.

This was a really pleasant surprise. Works like a dream, does exactly what you'd want, nice and small so it fits on your board, and quiet! Even the Boss GE-7 isn't as quiet as this thing! I've owned several of these and they never failed, malfunctioned, broken, or anything worse. I *always* keep one of these on my board next to pedals that cost 10x as much or more. Glad to say: It's a hidden gem. Fantastic pedal.

Can't beat the price, works as expected.

I have used other EQ's, most of which are full size but am quite impressed with this one. The mini size is definitely a plus and doesn't add any noise to the chain. Sliders work well (some people have painted them to make them more visible) I just sett and leave them on my mini board. Nice rugged build and seems like it could take some road use.

A good EQ can create any tone you need. This one a compact and fit my board perfectly.

I wanted to try an EQ pedal and went with this one for the price. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is, but it's very good--and it's quiet. Recommended!
