Genus 1-Phase LCD Sub Meter 2 Wire-No instruction about product features and operations
Genus 1-Phase LCD Sub Meter 2 Wire, delivered on 18 Oct 2020 at Rs. 1475, MRP Rs. 2090. Purchased from Subham Electric and Hardware-Jaipur L&T, Indotech and Power India LCD Sub meter are cheaper approx Rs. 1200, 1000 & 800 respectively. There is no instructions about :- How the product operates ??? How the Battery cell to be inserted ??? How many years warranty ??? How can I check the accuracy ??? What the LCD screen displays on pressing Scroll Button ??? Also, the small black plastic having Genus Brand name is missing I have wrote email to Genus and the seller Subham but no response from both.

Very good electric meter

Meter doesn't have internal battery hence reading not possible in event of power cut
The meter doesn't have inbuilt battery to backup power to show display data on event of powercut.The data couldn't be accessible and you need to wait for power supply to resume for reading the data Also there is no realtime clock ,No TOD(Time of the Day) reading. This meter is good for just reading such as finding the total consumption or Sub metering. But if you are looking for a meter as Main meter then this wouldnot be suitable for you. The meter have very good accuracy and enough display brighty.This meter is good for submeter purpose only. By considering the price of the meter is no value for money as the similar company Like L&T are providing all feature which are missing in this meter. The outer shell and the plastic quality is very good and durable.
