A great battery, with a slightly lower than standard price.
This battery is great, genuine, lasts well, more than the standard LPE6 or LPE6N versions. I use with my Canon R6. All NH batteries are over priced, the Canon LPE6NH is grossly over priced, these are slightly below standard price but still class as extortion. After the warrantee on my RAY has expired I wil get Hahnel extremes instead at half of the price. Using those now will kill my warrantee if something goes wrong. Go ahead, by these for your new camera, grit your teeth and get a second job to pay for it lol

Overcharged perhaps ?
Having spent my pennies on a camera and some very expensive lens I didn’t intend risking cheap batteries for it so bit the bullet . It’s a genuine canon battery took about an hour to charge up and is totally compatible with my R5 . No error messages so I’m happy .. overpriced but that’s life . Delivery could have been faster but reliable

Stupid money for a battery but it works
As we all know, Canon charge silly money for their genuine battery over similar items from third party manufacturers but we pay it because Canon also lock out third party batteries from certain power monitoring functionality within the camera. So yes the battery works very well, just as expected but 0/10 for value for money.

Necessary bit of gear
I always have the same internal debate when buying batteries, like 'How much better can the Canon one be over 3rd party ones?' and 'is it worth the extra cost?' and 'why do I care so much about batteries?' and 'am I procrastinating by spending my day looking at batteries?' And unfortunately, the answer is Yes- in my experience, the canon ones will last longer, degrade slower, and don't occasionally throw up a 'check battery for authenticity/brick my camera' on one hand I hate canon for making such good batteries for their cameras, and on the other hand I realise that I should always just get them, as being a professional, why would I cut corners on something that could mess with my job if it breaks (like a third party battery)

Canon value
you get what you pay for with canon, this no exception well packaged. This is for my EOS 5D mk iv it is expensive. My grandson bought a cheaper battery not a canon, but it didn't last the distance. This battery, so they say gives an extra 17% more efficiency so I will be pleased if it does

Ultimate compatibility
I, like many photographers, have used third-party batteries in my Canon cameras. Some events recently have changed my mind about using third-party batteries, and I have switched totally back over to using only OEM Canon batteries. I know some will say that they use third-party batteries with no issues whatsoever and I had that going on before I switched over to mirrorless cameras but I’ve had a series of issues using third party batteries in my new mirrorless cameras. For the sake of simplicity and ease of use, I found it more beneficial just to go full on compatible with OEM batteries. Yes there was an increase in cost, but knowing that there would be no compatibility issues outweigh the issue of increased cost. One point of redemption is the chargers that I had been using with the few third-party batteries I did have worked just fine with Canon batteries so no loss of investment there. The couple of newer 3rd party batteries I have are being kept as emergency reserves while the older ones were recycled. Any battery compatibility issues from this point forward will have to be addressed by Canon since everything is from Canon and should work together flawlessly.
