This is a great product, that work as indicated
This product was easy to setup. I decided that I did not want to cut a opening on the side of my sub-woofer for the Dayton Amplifier face-plate, so I went to Home Depot and found a hard plastic box type container that was very close to the dimensions of the Dayton Amp and mounted the face-plate to it with screws. Secondly, I drilled a hole on the side of the plastic box to run the wiring out from the Dayton Amp to my sub-woofer. Thirdly, I ran the sub-woofer wiring from my home theater system amplifier to the connections on the front of Dayton Amp and connected the sub-woofer wiring to the wiring connections on the back Dayton Amp with the wiring coming out the hole I had drilled. Finally, I turned on my home theater system, and the Dayton Amp. I now have deep bass sound that I can adjust. My home theater system sounds so much better!

Dayton Audio SA25 25W Subwoofer Amplifier
This is a nine compact unit that works well, but be aware of its limitations. The 25W rating if for a 4-0ohm speaker. Since many sub woofers are 8 ohm, it's real RMS will be half that value. Still, for a single small room it is fine.If you need more power for a larger space the Dayton SA70 (its bigger brother 0) will probably fit the bill. Again, be aware that for an 8-ohm speaker the RMS will be half the listed value. Plate amplifiers also need an enclosure. The unit can be connected to your amplifier by either a pin cable connected to a sub-woofer out or by routing the front speakers through the unit. I suspect that both connections are ideal. Unfortunately there is no manual accompanying , the unit. The company's response was that it was under revision and will appear on their web site.- maybe so- but after several week that is still not the case. All things considered, it is still a nice unit, keeping in mind, it's limitations. Recommended for converting a passive sub-wooffer into an active one..

Great Product, Does what it says to do, and with a Punch!
I was a bit skeptical at first, as it rates 25W, but I wanted to use my old passive subwoofer with my Onkyo system and decided to give it a try as it was the only one I found to be of the proper size. I was very pleased when, after 15 minutes to instal irt on my old sub, I pluged it on my system and Poof! I came to life, adding what I wanted to my Home Theater Room, with a clear and loud punch! Works as a charm, easy to instal and inexpensive. I highly recomend it! And fear not, the 25Wlittle guy delivers, and strongly so!

A Pain
Very nice amp, plenty of power to drive two 10" woofers in a 14' X 28' room for stereo music, movies & Wii. The only negative is the power switch is on the volume control, so every time you use the amp you must re-adjust the level. Or leave it on all of the time

Great replacement
I was going to repair the amp in my old Jensen sub, but decided it was easier to buy this. It looked like the plate size was the same, but it was slightly larger. I needed to trim the back of the cabinet to fit, but once done fit fine. Even the speaker connectors were exactly the same as the old amp. From what I can tell, the sub frequency cutoff and gain work better than the old amp did. This is same power output as old amp even though Amazon says it was 60. This is what I used it in. https://www.amazon.com/Jensen-JHT525-Theater-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B000065UTR/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Almost Perfect.
This amp is a solid amp with a good sound. I tried it on both a 4 inch sub and an 8 inch sub (a pyle tube 400 watt sub). It filled the entire living room with nice bass. However there is a couple of gripes (though one of them may be unwaranted. For starters this amp does not have a power switch but rather a volume/power knob. It works but every time you want to shut it off you have to reset the gain when you turn it back on. I bought a cheap powerstrip though with a switch so it isnt much of an issue. The other thing is that this amp does not come with a back (though i did expect that so again probably not fair to judge it that way). Either you will have an enclosure for the sub and put the amp on that or you will need to build a small enclosure for this since all of the raw components are exposed. Now for 42 dollars is it worth it? From the sound quality yes and the decibels it provides. As long as you buy this amp with those 2 things in mind you will love it.

Not the dimensions described.
Excellent for my purpose. I sent for this amp plate for an old Jensen SP 10. The plate was too small as it was described as 8 by 7 inches it is actually 6 by 6 inches. This worked out fine because I have a passive woofer I bought at a flea market for 10 dollars the Pioneer HTP 300 SW. The amp was just a tad too big but I was able to cut out some of the back to make it fit. It's working fine and gives me more flexibility with this woofer. Now I can control the volume and frequency. Good deal.

Funciona

小型システム用の自作SW(TB10㎝×2発・バスレフ)に使用してます。
