Trail Hiker Backpack

What can I say that the pictures don't? After a short period of light top moderate use, the bottom fell apart, the backing piece popped out, and the side pouch... simply vanished? Additionally, the waist strap ripped. While we don't expect outdoor gear to last forever, it would be nice if it could last a season. Don't waste your time and money on this bag... go elsewhere.

It's a pretty good bag. However, you should definitely know what you're getting. The quality and material is very good for a bag of this price. The straps on the front can be useful for attaching other items, and the many buckles can help when carrying heavy loads. Because of the nature of the bag, large amounts of hiking/camping material can fit in, but I do have one complaint. If you're looking to make a survival bag of any sort and aren't just looking for a hiking bag, I would recommend something else. The lack of compartments makes it hard to organize if you're carrying several small-mid sized objects, and the bag tends to ride up a bit awkwardly behind the head. Overall it's a nice bag, but the lack of compartments can be a deal breaker for many people, as there is only one main compartment followed by two small side compartments.

Very impressed with the size and quality of this backpack. Comparable to the more expensive bags but at a great price. Using it to build my bug out bag. Definitely recommend
