For beginners customer service is A+
It is a nice book, the writing is iffy. What I am looking for is just recipes. I am a canner from way back and I do not need all these instructions. I have tried three times to get just ideas and recipes. This is not this books fault but really it is for beginners and there are so many unneeded instructions that take up half the book. I am unwilling to say it is a bad buy but it is not what I was looking for. Yes All the above is correct however, they get 5 stars for the way they deal with returns. Great and I mean Great policy on their part

Great Resource for USDA Approved Canning Techniques
This book is a must-have for canners. It is an excellent reference book to confirm other recipes are USDA approved, if that is something important to you. Beginners will also find all the basics that they need to get started home canning.

So pleased and impressed
This publication was recommended on a very reputable YouTube platform for safest food preservation. This book came in amazing condition and very prompt. Extra care was given in wrapping the book in cardboard and plastic wrap to assure its like brand new condition. I so appreciate this type of service, especially in this rush about world of which we find ourselves in today. The book itself has copious recipes and principles on updated home canning.

I can many things including meat, I am glad to tell people when I use USDA recipes.
I've been home canning for just a few years now and when I tell people who sometimes have been canning for many years, that I am canning meat and fish, I am often challenged as to the 'safety' of doing so. Many 'canners' it seems are used to doing what their mother, or other canning authority did, which often was making jam, jelly, and/or what came out of the garden. Anything beyond that was often not part of their canning 'reality' so I am very glad to site sources like this, or the Ball Blue Book, and they usually are able to accept that most likely the above sources aren't out to kill people and in time come around to the notion that what I am doing is at least 'OK'. So, I like the book, the recipe formats are easy to follow and I like to copy a recipe so it's easy to see and put where I need it rather than dealing with the book on a countertop and if it gets water soaked it's just no big deal, I have a printer/copier and just whip off another copy. Many great recipes and I know I can trust them.

Good for safe canning guidelines
This has good information to get you started for safe canning or water baths. I have other books that are better but I like this to compare to insure they are tested methods and recipes for safety. There’s lots of books out there so this is an excellent reference book.

My most important canning book
This is an authoritative book any home canner should be able to access for reference. Recipes and procedures are research-based in order to be safe. It gives recipes and approved procedures for both water bath and pressure canning. I would consider it my most important canning book. I should point out that, living in Canada, the jar sizes in this book can be confusing for a new canner, since we are generally only able to purchase jars in metric sizes and not imperial sizes such as quarts, pints, etc., available in the U.S.. You need to know the equivalent or you might accidentally underprocess something. Initially I printed off a copy of the online "Ball equivalents Guide" which I taped to the inside of the book to solve this problem. Also, as a new canner I would have benefitted from more expert explanation of the procedures, like why debubble?, How to reprocess? Do "1 inch cubes" require a ruler to be safe? What internal temp. is chicken when it is two thirds done? How long will the recipe probably take? and when to start each step. Many of these more minor issues reoccur in many canning books and people are left to find the answers themselves. This book awkwardly does not have an index at the back, so if you want to find the recipe for chicken, for eg., you have to go to the "Table of Contents" in the front of the book and look through the sections until you find the meats, under which is listed chicken found at guide 5, page 5. Overall, this is a great book I would not want to be without, because I rely on it so much. I would highly recommend it and I trust it for safety!

Mauvaise qualité d'impression
Mauvaise qualité d'impression. Imprimé en Pologne le jour de la commande. Pas de photos couleur. Impression maison coûteuse. Remboursé sur réclamation. Printed in Poland on day I made the order. No colour photos. Expensive homemade printing. Refunded on complaint. Strongly do not recommend this cheaply made book.
